IMPORTANT...
As you may have seen in the local and national press, a regular client of Vintners’ Hall has spent the last few months of lockdown building a tunnel to our cellar.
Thankfully the tunnel was discovered by a local survey and is in the process of being filled in.
I understand how eager everyone is to return to enjoying great hospitality at Vintners' Hall, but please wait until 21st June when you can arrive by more traditional means. Bookings are open and a much better way of getting a seat than digging a 675ft tunnel.

The stunning Vintners' Hall, home of the wine trade in England, is ready to open its doors to meetings, parties, banquets and events from 21st June this year.

Host a future celebration, wedding or business event at Vintners' Hall, secure in knowing that we have implemented our stringent COVID-19 Secure protocol. This includes an enhanced cleaning schedule, one-way system to move around the venue, hand-sanitiser stations throughout the building and a temperature check on arrival.

Get back to business in our Court Room, one of the oldest continuously-used meetings rooms in the City of London or sip cocktails in the elegant Drawing Room before being called for a sumptuous banquet in the candlelit Livery Hall. Each table will be set with silver candelabras, flowers and tealights. After dinner, enjoy a drink in the Gassiot Room before dancing the night away in the Swan Room. Our new packages, created by in-house Searcys chefs, range from a stylish cocktail party to bowl food and indulgent dinner parties with menus tailored to your event requirements

Celebrate Valentines Day at home! Searcys Executive chefs have tailored easy but yet impressive three-course dinner recipes to inspire your Valentine’s date at home. Start the evening with warming aperitives like Leek Broth or Roast Parsnip Soup, then move on to a delicious classic and a favourite from The Orangery at Blenheim Palace: Salmon and potted shrimp. For the advance cooks, showcase their skills with Searcys’ Pan-Roasted Duck, Potato Gratin and Chicory for a hearty main course. The Vintners' Company is delighted to offer a virtual tour of Vintners’ Hall.
Vintners’ Hall has been home to the Worshipful Company of Vintners since the 15th century and is the spiritual home of the international wine trade. Behind its doors on Upper Thames Street lies an historic hall, which boasts a fine seventeenth-century staircase, a magnificent dining hall, and the Court Room - probably the oldest room in the City of London.
On this 45-minute virtual Zoom tour, led by Liveryman and London Blue Badge Guide Guy Fairbank, you’ll explore its historic rooms, see many of its wonderful treasures and learn about the Company’s role in the annual ceremony of Swan Upping.
The fee is £200, which is regardless of numbers.

If you’d like to book a tour please contact Guy directly at [email protected] or visit guythelondonguide.com
Additionally Guy will be running the tour privately, occasionally, and this costs a mere £7 per person. A bargain! He has just added a date to his website and have a tour for Tuesday 2 February: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/guythelondonguide/469447 #
