Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food was established in 2005 after seeing a gap in the market for bespoke menus, visually stunning and great tasting food at a very competitive price, coupled with exceptional personal service at the smaller end of the market. No two events are the same and therefore we don't provide a "one size fits all" approach. We are based in London and are happy to travel anywhere in th

e South East, and can also travel further afield if required. Canape functions, working lunches, business buffets, private parties and product launches are some of the many events that Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food deals with on a daily basis. Clients include fashion houses, hedge funds, charities, media companies and management consultancies, as well as many private clients who book us for important events such as milestone birthdays, Christmas canapé parties, family buffets, summer garden parties, christenings, small weddings and private dinners. Grazing boards are on some of our menus. We can accommodate most tastes. These are Mediterranean boards and arranged to cater for everyone. Out of shot is a delicious Tuscan white bean dip and a bread basket. Making me feel hungry. All the veg are freshly prepared for each board in house, tucked away in there are a house favourite of marinated mushrooms.

What do you do for someone who loves Salad Nicoise but hates tuna? Use marinated chicken breast of course. Cucumber, little gem, onion , tomato and potatoes in a mustardy, anchovy dressing make a bed for the sliced chicken. Not strictly authentic but still so tasty and makes a lovely lunch.

This year we are going to have a go at growing some of our own edible flowers for decorating platters etc. First off the blocks are violas. These gorgeous little plants have been potted on a size and are so happy that we can almost see the flowers open in front of us. The really healthy plants arrived beautifully packed (thank you Lucy) from . Once they have got going a bit we will start picking so see if you can spot them.

I think we may finally have found a vegan and gluten free savoury muffin that does what it says on the tin! What is even better is that it is infinitely adaptable so we can vary the fillings. Research and trial and error definitely pays off.
