Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food was established in 2005 after seeing a gap in the market for bespoke menus, visually stunning and great tasting food at a very competitive price, coupled with exceptional personal service at the smaller end of the market. No two events are the same and therefore we don't provide a "one size fits all" approach. We are based in London and are happy to travel anywhere in th

e South East, and can also travel further afield if required. Canape functions, working lunches, business buffets, private parties and product launches are some of the many events that Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food deals with on a daily basis. Clients include fashion houses, hedge funds, charities, media companies and management consultancies, as well as many private clients who book us for important events such as milestone birthdays, Christmas canapé parties, family buffets, summer garden parties, christenings, small weddings and private dinners. Our clients return time after time based on the fabulous food and attention to detail that we have become known for.

It seems that people never seem to tire of canapés. Here we have prawns marinaded in lemon, confit garlic, basil and olive oils simply finished with a rich homemade tomato ketchup and a basil leaf. Bringing the prospect of summer to life.

If you fancy adding a sweet treat to your working lunch this slighty souped upversion of the old favourite Millionaire's Shortbread could be just the ticket. Crumbly buttery shortbread with a layer of indulgent caramel and topped with a swirl of milk and white chocolate sprinkled with caramel chunks. Just try and say no to a second piece.

Dreamy rhubarb cheesecake made by Jacks today for a client lunch tomorrow. Creamy vanilla cheesecake with pieces of rhubarb on a ginger biscuit base topped with lightly baked rhubarb. If it actually gets to the lunch it will be a miracle with the fridge thieves about.

Crispy golden rice cakes ready to be finished tomorrow with tuna, wasabi mayo and pickled ginger for a delicious mouthful. These rice cakes are a recent and really adaptable addition to our library of canapé bases. They took a while to perfect but we are pretty sure we have cracked it. Tell us what you think they would be good topped with.

Busy afternoon making up lots if these canapé size beef wellingtons for a very special party on Saturday. Homemade buttery puff pastry, pate with mushrooms and beef fillet. Just waiting for the egg glaze to turn them into golden temptations. One of our most popular winter choices though of course available all year round.

Our newest salad bowl! Spicy crispy rice with chopped vegetables and herbs served with tasty peanut sauce, sadly no picture of the complete dish this time but it looked very tempting. It was the vegan/vegetarian part of last weeks big lunch. Asian style salads always a big hit.

Seeing these gives you hope that summer will eventually come! Vegetable summer rolls made up by Jacks and ready to cut and serve at a party later. Served with a tasty peanut dip makes perfect light and fresh party food. Shredded vegetables, herbs and flowers. Almost too pretty to eat.

These are serious little mouthfuls of flavour. Parmesan shortbreads topped with whipped goats cheese, olive dust, pesto, slow roast tomato and purple basil. All ready to be transferred to serving dishes at an event. Dolly has to make extra shortbreads every time for staff pick me up snacks!

Managed to get a quick shot of these cute canapés before Jack’s delivered them to one of our events this evening. Pesto marinated mozzarella, Parma ham bundles and slow cooked cherry tomatoes. A real burst of summery flavour on a chilly evening. Skewers are always a bit time consuming but worth every minute we think. We can do lots of variations.

Salad bowl lunch for 300 safely loaded onto the van ready for Jacks to deliver it to chicken Caesar salad, crispy rice and mixed vegetable salad with peanut sauce and pasta salad with prawn, smoked salmon and avocado. Gratifying to hear that they were devoured quickly and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you .eats for your help.

We have another of our very large Buddha bowl lunches for Salesforce going out tomorrow. Part of the prep was a marathon griddling of chicken breasts for chicken Caesar salad. Good job done.

Can be fiddly to make but well worth the trouble for a colourful fresh canapé. Served with a dip, we offer quite a range of different ones to suit most tastes. They can also be made for all dietary requirements.

Who does not love a scotch egg? If you are vegetarian there is no need to miss out as these are quails eggs coated with a tasty falafel mix. Perfect jammy middles for a delectable bite. Especially good canapé if you are trying to fill people up.

Whoops! Dolly broke her own rule of never holding our large jars of chutneys etc by the lid. Boy does chilli jam go a long way when it hits the deck. Thankfully no breakages but chilli jam everywhere. After Dolly thought she had got the lot Jacks arrived and spotted some on the ceiling. Thanks Jacks for doing the honours. I know we will be finding bits for days.

Just look at these beauties! Perfect large quince from my local Middle Eastern shop. All cooked and puréed ready to turn into delicious blocks of quince cheese for our cheese boards. Thank you to Dolly’s brother William for his fantastic tips .

Perfect vegetarian canapé for this cold weather. Toast round, crunchy apple disc , whipped goats cheese drizzled with honey and thyme then popped in the oven just long enough to brown and soufflé a little. Another of the canapés served at the party we catered .nineelms

Our gorgeous Sandra all ready to go at a wonderful anniversary party for some lovely new clients at Bloom West, Nine Elms on Saturday. Aubergine agebitashi, deep fried aubergine soaked in dashi and topped with a cucumber wasabi gel, pickled radish and sesame. Incredibly moreish. This is a new favourite and a labour of love. Thankfully one of Dolly’s absolute favourites so she is happy to make them as long as there are some rejects to taste!!!

Jacks has been really busy today preparing our turkey rolls for several Christmas lunches that we are doing this week. Stuffed with herby sausage meat filling. This method ensures a really moist joint which slices like a dream. A seriously good way of serving turkey for a lot of people. For those who like dark meat we stuff them with confit turkey leg meat and cranberry stuffing. Only the same again to do! #
