Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food was established in 2005 after seeing a gap in the market for bespoke menus, visually stunning and great tasting food at a very competitive price, coupled with exceptional personal service at the smaller end of the market. No two events are the same and therefore we don't provide a "one size fits all" approach. We are based in London and are happy to travel anywhere in th

e South East, and can also travel further afield if required. Canape functions, working lunches, business buffets, private parties and product launches are some of the many events that Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food deals with on a daily basis. Clients include fashion houses, hedge funds, charities, media companies and management consultancies, as well as many private clients who book us for important events such as milestone birthdays, Christmas canapé parties, family buffets, summer garden parties, christenings, small weddings and private dinners. Our clients return time after time based on the fabulous food and attention to detail that we have become known for.

Taking advantage of perfect “pastry” weather in the kitchen and bulk making homemade all butter puff pastry for up coming events including these salmon wellingtons for a dinner party tomorrow. Labour of love but well worth it.

These hot little numbers are chorizo and potato croquettes topped with a piquant mayo. It was a rush keeping up with demand. A proper crowd pleaser.

Seeing Jacks off with the van laden with a bowl lunch including sweet treats for 320. Destination Pictured are two of the five choices, autumn salad with celeriac, lentils,butternut, goats cheese and apple. Also pulled pork with confetti bean salad, guacamole and tortilla chips.

A room with a view. Jackie did an event for on the 36th floor of Heron Tower , serving one of our most popular summer canapés consisting of watermelon cube with mint and feta topped with nasturtium leaf and a lime gel raindrop. So refreshing on a warm summer evening.

On a very hot day we catered for the Wandsworth business awards for 300 plus , so good to see that our hard work was appreciated. Thank you and Battersea Power Station for your kind words re the food.

It is so hard to resist a small tart straight out of the oven and these filled with summer vegetables and a Brie, feta and mint filling are no exception. Puffed and golden ready for part of a working lunch today.

We have just received these gorgeous pictures of a few of the canapés we served at the event yesterday and wanted to share them. Quail’s Eggs with asparagus and hollandaise in filo cups. Crispy rice cakes with satay chicken, peanut sauce and acar. Rare beef cubes with potato, mustard mayo and crispy onions. Sweetcorn fritters with whipped feta, guacamole and chilli jam. Happy to say that they went down a storm

Gorgeous fresh and crunchy summer veg and salmon salad, perfect on a hot day. Not shown but served with a lemon and dill yoghurt sauce. Looking forward to serving many more of these.

A huge pat on the back and a large drink for all HQ, Jacks, Dolly,Lydia and Gabby. A really busy week feeding upwards of 430 people at various events around town. These included finger food and dinner Awards ceremony and canapés for along with some of our usual lunches to keep us out of trouble. Too busy for decent pics. Recharging before we start again on Monday.

It really is the little things that make a difference! We have finally found a really good and useful timer thanks to Dolly’s brother William. We have tried so many and all have disappointed, oh and Siri gets more and more disobedient. Three timers in one, our cup runneth over!!!!

This wonderful tomato delivery today really brought sunshine into the kitchen. Whose day does not get off to a good start with an eyeful of these beauties from Supreme Choice in Covent Garden. Now to make a fabulous salad.

All ready for a job next week and no pickling this time! Gorgeous griddled artichokes bottled with olive oil, herbs and garlic. It is so tempting to dig in and taste but it would not stop at one.
