Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food was established in 2005 after seeing a gap in the market for bespoke menus, visually stunning and great tasting food at a very competitive price, coupled with exceptional personal service at the smaller end of the market. No two events are the same and therefore we don't provide a "one size fits all" approach. We are based in London and are happy to travel anywhere in th

e South East, and can also travel further afield if required. Canape functions, working lunches, business buffets, private parties and product launches are some of the many events that Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food deals with on a daily basis. Clients include fashion houses, hedge funds, charities, media companies and management consultancies, as well as many private clients who book us for important events such as milestone birthdays, Christmas canapé parties, family buffets, summer garden parties, christenings, small weddings and private dinners. Finger food to go time today. Two bites rather than one when something a bit more substantial is called for. Delicious, if we do say so ourselves, fresh white crabmeat with avocado and apple on a fresh brioche toast. Crab is such a treat for most and this is a good way of making a little go a long way. So happy with this canapé. Asked for a “Greenhouse” theme by this is our vegetable patch pastry. Puff pastry, whipped goats cheese, olive soil and various veg. We think it is one of the cutest we have done for a while. Not only looks good but what a burst of flavour and crunch. Think we might do it again!!

Gorgeous rustic roast vegetable galette on the menu today for a simple working lunch. The vegetables lie on a bed of lightly spiced tomato chutney and gooey melting cheese. Perfect with a crisp green salad. This was made from scratch today but a galette is a great way to use up leftover roast veg.

A few of the canapés served at the networking event last night. Jacks was on duty topping and tailing etc. 1. Carrot falafel with baba ganoush and pomegranate. 2 teriyaki prawn on crispy rice cake with pickled ginger and wasabi mayo. 3. Mixed vegetable pakora with vegan mayo flavoured with mint, lime and lime pickle. All were happily consumed.

Kung Pao prawns with an Asian slaw. This can be part of a buffet or a bowl food dish. One of our most frequently ordered Asian dishes. We all love it in the kitchen so this was carefully divided into three!!! Love cooks perks. So very tasty.
