Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food was established in 2005 after seeing a gap in the market for bespoke menus, visually stunning and great tasting food at a very competitive price, coupled with exceptional personal service at the smaller end of the market. No two events are the same and therefore we don't provide a "one size fits all" approach. We are based in London and are happy to travel anywhere in th

e South East, and can also travel further afield if required. Canape functions, working lunches, business buffets, private parties and product launches are some of the many events that Jackie Filmer Bespoke Food deals with on a daily basis. Clients include fashion houses, hedge funds, charities, media companies and management consultancies, as well as many private clients who book us for important events such as milestone birthdays, Christmas canapé parties, family buffets, summer garden parties, christenings, small weddings and private dinners. Aubergine agebitashi, deep fried aubergine soaked in dashi and topped with a cucumber wasabi gel, pickled radish and sesame. Incredibly moreish. This is a new favourite and a labour of love. Thankfully one of Dolly’s absolute favourites so she is happy to make them as long as there are some rejects to taste!!!

Jacks has been really busy today preparing our turkey rolls for several Christmas lunches that we are doing this week. Stuffed with herby sausage meat filling. This method ensures a really moist joint which slices like a dream. A seriously good way of serving turkey for a lot of people. For those who like dark meat we stuff them with confit turkey leg meat and cranberry stuffing. Only the same again to do! #

A real labour of love this one! Just a few of the 650 filo tartlets made today from five layers of the thinnest pastry. Dolly is now somewhere in a darkened room nursing a negroni as a reward! Well she is always saying that she likes the fiddly jobs. It was followed by peeling the quails eggs to go inside!!! 🤣🤣🤣 it will all be worth it to see those happy little faces on Monday.

We have grown rather fond of our reindeer (who needs a name if you have any ideas) so were most upset after he lost an ear after a tumble.
