Wedding Stylist

EM Designs is founded and led by the talented Wedding Stylist, Nila Parmar. Having graduated from London Guildhall University, she boasts over 20 years of experience as a wedding stylist and interior designer.

Influenced by her trips to far-flung destinations from India to Morocco and beyond, Nila is a great supporter of local artisans, and actively sources the talents of skilled craftsmen and women throughout villages in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Marrakesh.

Her work is her passion, and she loves nothing more than spending her spare time searching for printed textiles, hand-carved mandaps, furniture and religious figurines.

Literally translated Raj Mahal is the kings' house. This Mandap is fit for a king and his queen. Design is inspired by the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. It is opulently finished in guilt Gold, with imposing columns, decorated with intricate hand-carved designs.
