Ben Pierre (the new alias of previous trance act Ben Mitchell) ventures fourth into organic house with support from the likes of Mixmag, BBC Introducing/Radio, Gareth Emery, Marsh and more. With a fresh new EP on All Day I Dream artist Lisandro's 'Flug Lab' label, Ben Pierre is making further inroads into organic house with a melodic, progressive twist. Sporting previous releases in both ambient a

nd progressive, it comes as no surprise that the fast-rising producer/DJ has stepped into the realms of deep and organic house, gathering support from the likes of Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream and Monstercat Silk mainstay artists on the way. Natural ambiences, close-up elements within nature and catchy melodies form the signature quirks of Ben's productions, from the waterdrops of 'Laguna' (Spring Tube) to the distant waves in 'Yemaya' (Flug Lab). When he's not producing nature-inspired organic house, Ben's spinning on the decks, featuring his own works as well as that of Lost & Found and ADID mainstay artists. 2022 is set to be a skyrocketing year from Ben Pierre and the 23-year old musician is showing no signs of slowing down!

That’s nearly a wrap on 2024. It has definitely been a rollercoaster of a year, but I’m so grateful for all of the support and opportunities, including making my Polish debut in the beautiful city of Wroclaw and my second time performing at Amsterdam Dance Event - it has been incredible and all thanks to you guys. Here's a little highlight reel - you may catch a few IDs due out next year thrown in for good measure!

So many great memories and a big thanks to you all for making the year so special. I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings, with a lot of fresh new music that I'm very excited for and a second remix coming your way very soon!

I’m thrilled to announce that on February 1st, I’ll be joining Luttrell, Asch Pintura and Tommy Farrow at The Steel Yard in London as part of Luttrell’s Life at Full Speed Album Tour!

Performing with Luttrell back in March at Ton of Brix, alongside My Friend, Carina Lawrence, and Innerstice was fantastic and the energy from the crowd was unreal - possibly one of my favourite shows of the year. Can’t wait to go for round two and I hope to see you there!

Back from another fantastic trip to Amsterdam for ADE and wow, what a blast! Many thanks to everyone who came along to catch my set at Kashmir - be sure to keep an eye out for the playback coming soon!

Visiting the Armada Music HQ for the first time was also another big highlight for me this year, catching Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, and Ruben de Ronde for the ASOT ADE special, along with some great guest performances. With much of my earlier years in music being formed and inspired from trance, it was pretty special to finally pay a visit!

On top of all things ADE, I took the time this year to explore some of the beautiful, quiet villages of Waterland just outside of the city—such a serene contrast to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam with all the events going on.

It was awesome to catch up with everyone again and meet some of you at the shows and I can’t wait to head back over in 2025! 🇳🇱✨♥️

Amsterdam! I'm delighted to be making a return to ADE this year. Performing at Amsterdam Dance Event was always a goal of mine as a musician, being the world's largest electronic music gathering, and I'm very grateful to be coming back this October. You can catch my set on Thursday 17th Oct at Kashmir, where I'll be joining the likes of Elliot Moriarty, Akiva and more.

It's always such a great time and I hope to see you there!

Such an incredible time away in the Alps, refueling on music inspiration and switching off for a week. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful places I've been so far. But now, it's all systems go again with quite a few announcements coming up, including an incoming remix and a return to my favourite and one of electronic music's largest events and gatherings!

Such an incredible time in the beautiful city of Wrocław, making my Polish debut alongside Nox Vahn on the ‘When I’m With You’ world tour and then heading to Bournemouth to catch him rock the pier for his HSWRK Presents headline show.

Between the performance, the beautiful locations and the people I’m beyond grateful to have met, it’s certainly been one of the best experiences this year so far. I can’t wait to be back!

Such a great night at The Ton of Brix on Wednesday, playing an impromptu opening set for Marsh, with the proceeds going to Leukaemia UK. A few new fresh IDs also worked their way into the set, these set for release this year!

Can't wait to be back this weekend for another fantastic night alongside Luttrell, My Friend, Carina Lawrence and Innerstice.

Hey all! Wow, what can I say?

It's truly an honour to have Forest of the Cuckoo featured on Buddha Bar by George V Records, home to world-renowned artists such as Bob Sinclar and the maestro of Electro Swing, Parov Stelar.

Buddha Bar is a powerhouse in the world of chill, downtempo and world music, from the iconic label through to the plethora of locations from Monte-Carlo to London, Paris to Belgrade.

It feels great and quite surreal to have a track featured on a CD that I can go and purchase from my local music store and I'm very grateful to Buddha Bar for selecting Forest of the Cuckoo to be a part of this renowned compilation. Big thanks to the folks at George V, Wagram Music and Buddha Bar and artist/selector Ravin!
