We are excited to announce that Pedro Castro has been promoted to Director of Operations! Since joining the Principal Family 4 years ago; Pedro has been an integral part of the management team ⭐

As he steps into his new role as Operations Director, Pedro will assume a broader responsibility for overseeing cross-functional initiatives, implementing process improvements, spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness across the business. His objective will be to drive operational excellence, as well as contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

The Principal Kick Off 2023! ✨

Last night, we united at The May Fair Hotel for our annual Kick Off – a moment of reflection, celebration of milestones, and strategic planning to set the stage for 2024 to be our best year yet!

Our team-building journey transported us into a culinary escapade with Principal’s Kitchen Nightmare Before Christmas!

Before we delved into the Christmas Dinner Cooking Challenge with the Cooking Academy, we were treated to a mezcal tasting by the amazing team and a lesson in Christmas Table scaping by the one and only . Once thoroughly educated we were let lose to create a menu worthy of MasterChef! It was a great combination of creativity and chaos!

But the night didn’t stop there – it concluded on a high note aboard a party bus where we partied the night away through the festive streets of London with our special bartender Mark 🥂

Day Lewis Pharmacy Conference and Expo 2023 ⭐

Reuniting with and their amazing colleagues for another unforgettable annual gathering of 1200 delegates at Hilton London Metropole!

The morning kicked off with their conference led by company directors and leadership team with deep dives into industry insights. The exhibition that followed was filled with suppliers and pharmacy colleagues, creating an atmosphere of collaboration!

Our final International Lunch was a feast fit for an Emperor!
 Led by our accountant Sussie, who hails from Shanghai, China, our last team lunch for 2023 had the biggest team cooking up a storm. The delicious Chinese feast featured dishes such as Peking duck, salt and pepper fish, sticky pork belly, MaPo Tofu, Chinese baos and so much more - it truly was a culinary masterpiece!
 But it was not just about the food. We also enjoyed cracking a few fortune cookies, and learning about Chinese culture through a China themed quiz hosted by Mark 🇨🇳
 The festivities didn't stop there, as the last lunch of the year we wanted to double the joy by wearing our festive Christmas jumpers to raise money and support of Save the Children’s national Christmas Jumper Day! 🎄

We recently curated an unforgettable 2-night EMEA Partner Conference at the beautiful Sheraton Cascais, hosting 125 delegates. One of the event highlights was the magical gala dinner at Adega De Colares!

The renowned winery became the canvas for a magical evening of their fine wines, delicious local food and mesmerizing musical performances. It wasn't just a celebration of Colares' rich heritage; it was a journey into the heart of tradition. The winery is committed to preserving tradition and employs traditional winemaking methods, from the manual harvesting to the foot-treading of grapes 🍇

Our Principal Family embraced the spirit of giving with Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child 🎁 🌟

A special thanks to our incredible Senior Project Executive, Issy, who introduced and organised this heartwarming initiative for our team!

We packed and donated 20 festive boxes filled with brand new toys, school supplies, and hygiene products for children from ages 2 to 14, handpicking items to make their holiday extra special. A huge shoutout to our dedicated team members who went above and beyond, contributing more than one box each!

We can't wait to see which part of the world our donations end up!

Exciting times as we prep for the grand finale party for our tech client, hosting 3000 delegates in Barcelona. Behind the scenes, we're exploring this beautiful city, meeting amazing suppliers to bring our vision to life ✨

We're crafting a truly memorable and magical infusion of Barcelona with three distinct areas: Dali/Gaudi's artistic welcome, the lively Las Ramblas street food space, and the ultimate party zone. Next year's party is bound to be unlike any other, so stay tuned for all the exciting details!

Our team turned the office into a vibrant Portuguese festival, sharing culture and delicious dishes, from sardines, Serra da Estrela cheese to pastéis de natas 🇵🇹

This lunch is a delicious preview of what's in store as our team gears up to jet off to Lisbon in two weeks for a conference. Fingers crossed that Pedro's Portuguese lessons come in handy during our trip! Let the exciting countdown begin…

Majestic site visits in Marbella☀️
 As the summer comes to an end we jetted off to sunny Marbella for an exciting site visit for an incentive next year. Our days were spent exploring this stunning town and surrounding areas while fine tuning an exciting programme for a group of 160 people.

Highlights included the very well-known Nikki & Fendi Beach Clubs, Rhonda, catamarans, and so much more. We saw the best of what Marbella has to offer and now we will design an incentive of dreams for our client’s delegates!

Flavour, Flamenco & Fiesta🇪🇸🎉

This month’s International Office Lunch transported the team to Spain for a traditional Spanish lunch!

The room, decorated in Spanish flags, red and yellow balloons and The Gipsy Kings playing in the background, really set the scene.

Our Spanish dream team cooked up a storm, creating our very own tapas feast featuring dishes like prawns pil pil, pan con tomate, seafood & vegetable paella, and jugs of sangria - It truly was ‘espectacular’ (spectacular!)🥘🍹

To finish things off and also work off our delicious lunch, we all enjoyed participating in a traditional Flamenco Dance masterclass💃🏼

Purple Paradise in LA ☀️

Throwback to this beautiful and intimate evening we created for our client, all while embracing their brand colour of purple 💜

Nothing quite beats a breathtaking outdoor backdrop, so we took advantage of the sunny weather and set up amidst the beauty of Aliso and Wood Canyons!

The indulgent whiskey and chocolate pairings, tasty s'mores station and live music created the perfect atmosphere for this farewell dinner 🔥

This week it was time to spice things up in the Principal office as our host team gave everyone a true taste of India for this month’s office International Lunch.

Adorned with colourful garlands, flickering candles, and even a tablecloth made from a traditional saree,every detail celebrated the spirit of India.🏵️🪔

The team cooked up a feast, bringing the vibrant flavours of India to life with vegetable biriyani, mouth-watering chicken curry and a traditional Indian dessert called barfi!

The team were entertained with Bollywood music, henna tattoos, and a quiz on the culture and festivals of India.🇮🇳✨

This was definitely a lunch to remember!

Crafting captivating moments in Chicago🏙️✨

Throwing it back to an unforgettable event in Chicago where we delivered not just one, but two themed evening events for 800 delegates.

What better way to excite and delight guests after a long day of meetings than a carnival themed party! Hostesses paraded in champagne dresses🥂, fire dancers captivated with their artistry, and the mouth-watering Mexican street food added a little spice and flavour to the festivities🔥

For the grand finale, the Museum of Science and Industry took centre stage, unveiling a sensory spectacle like no other. From the moment guests stepped through the entrance, they were immersed in a realm where history, science, and innovation converged. A wine-cycle whirled with delight, while drones delivered delectable treats, plus a showstopping DJ set electrified the crowd well into the early hours!💥🤩
