💪 QUIP SHED FAVOURITE 💪

Quip Shed Comedy welcomes back Claire Haus! This time, Claire will be performing at Ham Polo Club in Richmond on Friday 4th November!

Claire is a comedian and writer who featured on ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show earlier this year! Her 2021 collaboration with LADbible reached 650k+ views in just four days, and she’s a So You Think You’re Funny grand finalist. She can regularly be seen performing high-energy stand-up at some of the best clubs on the London circuit and also creates a stream of popular sketch content on Instagram. A collection of her comic drawings, The Blaring House, was released by Conundrum Press.

We cannot wait to have Claire back with us at our newest venue this November! Tickets have flown out the door for this show, so be quick to get yours before they’re gone!

We are so excited to have Huge Davies back with Quip Shed Comedy this November, and this time he is at Ham Polo Club in Richmond!

Combining his confident on-stage presence, dark humour, surreal material, and one-of-a-kind customised keyboard, Huge has quickly risen to become one of the most exciting and unique acts in the UK.

TV appearances include 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Harry Hill’s Clubnite, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, The Now Show, The Stand Up Sketch Show, The Emily Atack Show, Guessable, Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, and he was part of the first ever musical battle on Roast Battle UK.

In August 2019, his debut solo show ‘The Carpark’ was a smash hit at the Edinburgh Festival and resulted in a Best Newcomer nomination. In January 2020, he performed a sell-out run of the show at the Soho Theatre in London.

Happy Chinese New Year 🏮

2021 is the Year of the Ox 🐂

The Ox is the second of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the order in which they arrived to his party. The Ox was due to be first but the Rat tricked the Ox into giving him a ride. Then, just as they arrived, Rat jumped down and landed ahead of the Ox. Thus, the Ox became the second animal!!

In Chinese culture, the Ox is a valued animal. 🇨🇳

People born in the year of the Ox are honest, earnest, hard working, intelligent and reliable but never demand praise. They think logically and make great leaders. 🐂⛩

We hope that you're all having a lovely Christmas wherever you may be and you're keeping safe.
By god it's been a crazy year, not anything any of us were ready for, or expecting, but in many ways it has brought us all closer together and I am sure we are all going to appreciate next year that little bit more.

Lighting is important for your wedding, especially if you're sitting down for dinner later on in the day, or getting married in Autumn or Winter.
Light will be fading outside so adding different layers of lighting, such as a pillar candle or hanging tealights as seen here, is really important to create a cosy feel for your guests🕯️

Ham Polo Club is a private members club which has been open for over 90 years and has an established and distinguished reputation. As London’s only and last remaining polo club, it certainly is a unique venue.

After so many years The Club has now opened it’s doors for private hire for corporate, private and wedding bookings.

Set in 23 acres of beautiful greenery, this is a perfect rural location located only 8 miles from Hyde Park Corner and we look forward to working together.
