It's (26 July – 4 August)🌲😍. A celebration organised by Keep Britain Tidy and Flag Award that aims to bring together communities, residents, local authorities, green space managers and community organisations to appreciate the vital role parks play in keeping our communities healthy and happy.

We did it! We're delighted to announce that Potters Fields Park has retained its Green Flag Award for another year and our neighbouring park, St. John's Churchyard, has been awarded a flag for a 2nd year 💚.

A huge thank you and congratulations to Gavin Jones Ltd gardening team on their exceptional work managing and maintaining both of our parks for everyone to enjoy all year round 👏🏆.

Tomorrow, we’re thrilled to welcome London Band Week back to Potters Fields Park to kick off this years’ festival with a very special performance by the University of Ohio’s Marching 110. Up close and personal, the Marching 110 are a sight and sound to behold with a highly energised performance style straight from the field of the Peden Stadium, Ohio University.

Another exciting free event on the park to add to your diaries for this weekend ✨ This Saturday 22 June, we’re thrilled to be joining in the Great Get Together SE1, and you’re all invited to take part.

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to take part in a variety of games and activities including a dog show, Wacky Races, Zumba, and there will be an array of displays and performances.

Inspired by Jo Cox’s belief that we have than that which divides us, The Great Get Together SE1 is part of a UK-wide The Great Get Together weekend celebration of everything that unites our communities.

This Friday 21 June, join us on the park for , an international festival of music-making🎷🎶 Hundreds of musicians will come together in central London to celebrate the joy of music.

In addition to the spectacular performances throughout the day across the area, we’ll be joined on the park by the Big Summer Wind Orchestra & Choir for a glorious evening of music on a giant scale.

Are you ready for day 2 of the ⚽? Here’s what you can expect to see on Potters Fields Park over the weekend:

🏆 Snap a monumental photo with the giant trophy and the stunning backdrop of .
🎮 Play games with ’s Astro Bot.
🥤 Stay hydrated at the Mixology Bar which will offer non-alcoholic cocktails and a recycling station where visitors can win prizes.
📸 Get your picture taken with Oppo as you replicate the moment players emerge from the tunnel and take to the pitch.
🍕 Food stalls selling delicious food, including vegetarian and vegan options.

The Champions Festival will be running until Sunday 2nd June and is completely free to attend. See you there!

Note: the Final is not being screened at Potters Fields Park.
