Here’s an update on the tour and the upcoming releases. I’m really excited about what’s to come over the next months. I’ll have more to write over the coming weeks as we get towards the tour.

CONSTRUCT // DESTRUCT TOUR

The Tour starts February 5th in Rostock, Germany and will travel to France, Holland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, England, Poland, Hungary, Spain, Denmark and Sweden, with a final show at a festival in Switzerland. We’ll be playing a great mix of new songs, classics and your favourites. Our special guest is the dark-electro act “Straight Razor”. I really hope you’ll come early to see them live. There are also plans for tour-legs in other parts of the world. More details to come.

ALBUM #1 - “CONSTRUCT”

My concept for “Construct // Destruct” was for two albums of opposites , both in sound and emotion. The production and creative processes took on lives of their own and, as the scale and sound on each album grew, it was clear that these were two definitively separate albums. “Construct” will be first release (Digipack CD / Limited and Regular Vinyl / Digital). “Destruct” will be released a number of weeks later. A deluxe limited boxset will come after that, comprising both albums and a collection of unreleased tracks.

As the name suggests, “Construct” is the more positive of the two sides. You may infer from that what “Destruct” represents😉 It takes the anthemic, energetic and cinematic sound to new levels. From pulsing tracks like “Silence speaks” and “On other oceans” to emotive, orchestral-inspired moments like “Nothing left” and “Frontier”, it’s a stellar journey.

We’ll be playing new songs on the tour and swapping them in and out so you’ll get a good idea of what’s coming. As with the Electric Sun, Empires and Futureperfect Tours, the album release will follow the tour, with individual tracks being made available in the weeks up to the release. I really enjoyed being able to showcase the songs live first but you will have songs to listen to until the release.

“Construct” will be released on 28.03.2025. You’ll be able to preorder the album as of early Feb. We’ll also have preordering available at the merchandise stand on the tour.

And lastly, you probably want to hear something soon and I want that too. You’ll start hearing teasers in the next weeks.

ALBUM #1 - „CONSTRUCT“

Mein Konzept für „Construct // Destruct“ bestand darin, zwei Alben der Gegensätze zu schaffen , sowohl im Klang als auch in der Emotion. Die Produktions- und Kreativprozesse entwickelten ein Eigenleben und als der Umfang und der Klang auf jedem Album zunahmen, war klar, dass es sich um zwei definitiv getrennte Alben handelte. „Construct“ wird zuerst veröffentlicht (Digipack-CD / limitiertes und reguläres Vinyl / digital). „Destruct“ wird einige Wochen später veröffentlicht. Danach wird ein limitiertes Deluxe-Boxset erscheinen, das beide Alben und eine Sammlung unveröffentlichter Tracks enthält.

Wie der Name schon sagt, ist „Construct“ die positivere der beiden Seiten. Daraus könnt ihr ableiten, wofür „Destruct“ steht ;) Es hebt den hymnischen, energiegeladenen und filmischen Sound auf ein neues Level. Von pulsierenden Tracks wie „Silence speaks“ und „On other oceans“ bis hin zu gefühlvollen, orchestral inspirierten Momenten wie „Nothing left“ und „Frontier“ ist es eine stellar Reise.

Wir werden auf der Tour neue Songs vorstellen und sie abwechselnd spielen, damit ihr einen guten Eindruck davon bekommt, was euch erwartet. Wie bei den Electric Sun, Empires und Futureperfect Tours wird die Veröffentlichung des Albums auf die Tour folgen, wobei einzelne Titel in den Wochen vor der Veröffentlichung verfügbar gemacht werden. Ich habe es wirklich genossen, die Songs zuerst live präsentieren zu können, aber ihr werdet bis zur Veröffentlichung Songs zum Anhören haben.

„Construct“ wird am 28.03.2025 veröffentlicht. Ihr könnt das Album ab Anfang Februar vorbestellen. Wir werden auch Vorbestellungen am Merchandise-Stand auf der Tour anbieten.

Und schließlich wollt ihr wahrscheinlich bald etwas hören, und das will ich auch. In den nächsten Wochen werdet ihr Teaser hören.

Many of you asked for the setlist for my recent Depeche Mode Interpretations Piano Show in Kulttempel Oberhausen on Sat 28th 2024. Here is the setlist from that performance. I ended up having to drop one song from the encore as I had overrun the time slot, so I never performed "Death's Door".
