We sometimes cater for special events the traditional caramelised grilled pork with woven rice vermicelli 'bánh hỏi' topped in garlic chives sauteed in oil. Yummmmm 😋

Our bánh mì baguettes are hand-rolled, authentically the Vietnamese way. Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside! It’s a rare gem in London. 😋

It's been quite a week with flooding in our house, having to cancel all our jobs to clean and fix and make sure everything is safe.

But we are so grateful everyone is safe, the house is fixable and we still have a home, we have awesome friends who reached out for support in different ways, the tax papers & receipts are still in tact miraculously and the business will be back on track in January 2024!

Meanwhile, we will end the year with Tuesday 19th Dec last hotpot party at St.Mary's Church, followed by 1 week of 🦥 slothing in bed netflixing, gaming & Vietnamese dramas.

Oh, and we've managed to raise £100 for St. Mary's Church! 😄

Yay!!! We have a venue for our special Christmas hotpot event. We will do the hotpot properly, eating together with a hotpot in the middle of the table, with squid and everything that the Nguyen family do at home!

A percentage proceeds will go towards St. Mary’s Church to thank father for his kindness throughout this year, supporting Lò Việt since the beginning!

Though we have a few familiar dishes to serve, our passion from the start was to introduce lesser known dishes to hungry Londoners.

The Lẩu noodle soup has become a hit, and so is Grandma's slow cooked chicken, amongst some other specials that we have introduced from time to time.

As challenging as the economy is right now for all caterers and street food traders, we refuse to let go of this passion. Tammi still refuses to source factory bread so that we can serve authentic homemade Vietnamese bánh mì. Tony still refuses to introduce Phở 😂, though we know it will boost our income due to how globally known it is, but it will defeat the purpose of our initial vision.
