NillyFlowers_Social is excited to announce we are hosting a Valentines Singles Night on Saturday 10th February 2024.

Guests receive a complementary drink upon arrival where you have a soft open social with music and canopies as everyone arrives. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support we have received on this incredible journey. The NillyFlowers Shop with NillyPad Floral Cafe has now been up and running for almost 3 months and It feels like just yesterday when we started in a small kiosk by the station, watching everyone walk by and making so many friends in the area.

The community of Harlesden has always been so important to me, and when the perfect opportunity came to expand to a shop in this very neighbourhood, I knew we had to seize it.

It has been a truly wonderful journey so far, the collaborative partnership with my son Ade Perera to create a floral café, where our customers, friends, and family of Harlesden can relax with a cup of tea or coffee while enjoying the green sanctuary of NillyFlowers in the heart of the city.

None of this would have been possible without everyone's love and support. Your belief in us has fuelled our passion and determination to create a space that truly reflects the spirit of our community. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve you and be a part of your lives.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for everyone who came to our soft social opening of the NillyFlowers Expansion. It has been a long journey and everyone involved in this project gave their all and worked so hard on this. I cannot thank everyone enough for all their efforts into making this dream come true.

Yesterday evening was truly a beautiful evening of community and family, thank you all again coming by and enjoying the food and drinks, my son and I look forward to opening for business tomorrow on the 26th June with the café opening from Tuesday 27th June.

Dear all Patrons and Friends of NillyFlowers,

I have an announcement to make, and I am aware that most of the beautiful extended family of NillyFlowers will already be aware that I am moving from my small rustic flower stall at 248 High Street, NW10 4TD, to a new location up the road at 24 Park Parade, NW10 4JG. This is not only an incredibly exciting time for us but also a nerve-wracking venture as I never would have imagined getting the incredible invaluable support that I have to take on this opportunity to branch out and own a physical tangible store in the heart of my very own neighbourhood that I hold dear to my heart.

I will be expanding from my jubilant little stall into a grand, new Floral Café. This new venture with my son Adeesha will help bring the community closer to us and hope to create an even more inclusive, embracing and unified relationship with my beautiful patrons, neighbours and community.

I endeavour to make this expansion for our wonderful community to relax, grab a cup of coffee or tea whilst they shop for flowers. All of our products will be aimed to be Fair Trade and Organic from the coffee and teas to our salads and pastries. We plan to include a few Sri Lankan treats to keep our heritage spoken throughout our business and hope for everyone to also enjoy it with us. Our flowers will be fresh, and our takeaway cups and plates will be 100% recyclable.

I would love to tell you all everything but would like to leave some surprises for its grand opening. We aim to launch within the first two weeks of June. As we are longer operating at 248 High Street, NillyFlowers will continue business as usual via online and telephone orders only until the new store is ready. Thank you all so much for your wonderful support and patience and we look forward to seeing you all shortly.

This Saturday I will be at this exciting "Bring Back the Noughties 2000's Fundraising Disco"

This event is raising money for the Health Initiative South Sudan e.V. Charity. Every ticket purchased, online donation and raffle ticket bought will help a medical team travel from Germany to South Sudan to administer treatments, perform surgery and carry out training in the town of Wau.
