“Not everything you create is meant for profit — some things are meant to build people, bonds, and purpose.”
Ghani Khamma is filled with gratitude to have spent the past few months doing exactly that — creating moments that brought people together and gave something meaningful back to the community.
We began with a beautiful session for the JITO Ladies, where Mrs Nidhi Agrawal from Badrinath Fitness India shared powerful insights on ageing — not as a limitation, but as a journey of strength, awareness, and self-care. A reminder that growth never stops, no matter the age.
Next came a truly global connection — the virtual matrimony event with JITO UK. Around 75 young and single Jains from across the world joined in, filling the Zoom room with energy, hope, and genuine conversations that sparked new beginnings.
I was also honoured to be part of the core team executing the Navkar Mahamantra Diwas, a remarkable initiative by the JITO India team. The event created a powerful spiritual aura, connecting nearly 35 Jain communities in the UK and various Jain organisations across Europe. More than 1,000 participants joined physically from 41 organisations, around 4,500 connected via Zoom, and approximately 700 participated via YouTube. Collectively, the community recited over 6,23,000 Navkar Mahamantra chants in a single session — a truly humbling display of unity, devotion, and spiritual strength.
Then came the celebration of culture and togetherness — our Rajasthani Fest. From authentic Dal Baati Churma to live mirchi vadas, hot jalebis, and paan to finish, every flavour carried warmth. Families from London and Midlands came together, hearts full and plates fuller! We also celebrated 10 years of JITO UK, sharing inspiring journeys — and in the sweetest surprise, the team even celebrated my birthday in the middle of it all.
Each event has been more than an occasion — it’s been a classroom of life. Learning teamwork, patience, creativity, and the joy of giving back.
Because in the end, success isn’t just what we build… it’s who we bring together along the way.
