A well needed week away in paradise. By far the most incredible place Ive been to yet 💫

Asides from eating loads of good food and soaking up the sun, it was nice to finally detach myself from music for the first time in ages.

Back home now with bucket loads of inspiration so its time to get back in the studio and start making some more music to fill up my release schedule for 2025 ♾️

Last Tuesday was pretty special, got to finally meet my favourite DJ and biggest inspiration in the scene ✨

It was made even sweeter by having the opportunity to experience Sasha’s latest Da Vinci Genius album in a unique way for as well as managing to get two of my favourite Sasha vinyls signed by the man himself afterwards.

Definitely an evening I’ll never forget 💫

My remix of Pete Tong’s “Release Me” 💫

Earlier this month, I entered a competition to remix Pete Tong’s latest record “Release Me”. As you can imagine, I was pretty excited about the opportunity to remix a legend’s record, with the winner getting to release the remix on Ministry of Sound as well as perform before Pete’s Ibiza Classics Orchestra at the O2 in London this December.

The winner was announced last week and, unfortunately, it wasn’t me but I was so pleased with the remix I produced that I thought it would be a shame not to share it with the world so here you are, my break beat remix of Pete Tong’s “Release Me”.

I’ve uploaded my remix to my SoundCloud so you can hear the full version. Not sure how long it will stay up there but it’s up there for now.

The A-side is “Smile”, a record that was inspired by those sunrise moments on the dancefloor where you’re lost on a wave, eyes wide shut and feeling the music with a smile on your face.

The B-side is “Good Life”, a hard-hitting club record that is polar opposite to “Smile” with its cinematic strings, deep driving bassline and a 303 acid line to keep you grooving.

How I prepare for my DJ sets 🎧 A little insight into how I’m getting ready for my gig this weekend in Manchester when I support the legend that is Richie Blacker alongside @onda.dj and @manchild_uk for @melotechevents. Tickets still on sale 🎟️

Where it all began 💫 I often look back and wish I had committed myself more to music. At the time, I had no clue that I was learning the skills and knowledge that would give me the platform to begin pursuing my dream 16 years later. A dream I’d love to have discovered many years earlier but that wasn’t meant to be. As with many things in life, it’s not until you get older that you realise the importance of something. Everyday, I count my blessings that I have found my calling in life and it’s down to us to do everything we can to make our dreams a reality.

3 Key Lessons I’ve Learnt from Chasing my Dream 💫 These are the 3 most important lessons I’ve learnt so far since I committed to this journey 3 years ago to pursue my dream of becoming a full time DJ and producer. 1️⃣ Enjoy the Journey Success doesn’t happen overnight. If you had asked me three years ago where I’d be by now, I would have said I would have quit my job and been doing music full-time. This isn’t the case. Success doesn’t happen overnight, so you have to love what you do and do it as much as you can. Focus on making positive movements each day and enjoy the small wins. The bigger picture will paint itself. 2️⃣ Thrive Off Failure They say the biggest lessons you learn are from failure; this couldn’t be more true. I’ve never experienced as much failure as I have in the last three years, but you have to use this to inspire and motivate you to do better and be better. 3️⃣ Stay True to Yourself Don’t compare yourself to others who are in the position you want to be in; everyone has a different situation and circumstance. The best thing you can do is stay true to what brings you joy; that way, you are doing it all for you. Authenticity leads to originality, which leads to success. Your best differentiator is you.

Little insight into how I write my music 🎵 This is an idea I started writing today, trying out something different by writing my first piano house record. I always start things off by getting a solid groove locked in with the kick and bass then everything else builds from the bottom up. What do you think of this vibe? Since I started learning to produce music 2 and a half years ago, I’ve spent countless hours in the studio trying to refine my craft and get my music to a level in which my favourite DJs would play it out in clubs all over the world. I knew that when it would finally happen, I would have the recognition I needed to know I’m on the right path. The first time I heard my own music get played out live was when I was in the crowd at Drumsheds and Yulia Niko dropped my unreleased record Praying to the Moon. My reaction in the video says it all, it was my proudest moment yet as a producer and artist. A few weeks later, I’d receive another video showing Yulia drop the same record at Ushuaia in Dubai 🤯 There is no better feeling in the world and hopefully just the start of more to come. I can’t wait for the record to finally release later this year 💫
