Born in London, Mark Day was surrounded by music growing up, either playing on the radio which was always on or listening to the soundtracks of video games.
During his teenage years he discovered a whole new world of electronic music, starting with trance and delving into many of the subgenres; he was in love.
After some years of searching the internet he came across the term ‘psychedelic music’ - the name intergued him so he decided to dig deeper which culminated in him finding an underground psytrance party in London by luck.
After a year of going to parties he started to DJ at them and a couple more years later he started to produce his own music.
His psytrance music can be characterised by having a lot of sounds with layers of atmospheres over the top, always driving and with some psychedelic wizardry inside.

Full Lotus (aka Arv) is a London-based psychedelic DJ who’s been spinnin’ since the ‘90s. He first got hooked on the word
“psychedelic” at age 12, and after diving into vinyl DJing at uni, he discovered Goa parties and was instantly vibing.

A trip to Goa in ‘95 sealed the deal, and by ‘96, he was all about those trance and techno raves. Fast forward to ‘98—he became a resident at Kundalini, and Full Lotus was born.

With 30 years of experience, he’s now a staple in the dark/ forest trance scene, delivering what he calls “twisted nighttime funk.” His sets? Straight fire, blending mind-bending beats with mad energy. As he says, “Psychedelia is in the mind of the beholder.”
