Today marks Earth Overshoot Day 😢

Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year.

Meaning we’ve used up more resources than our planet can sustainably produce in a year 😖. It’s a stark reminder to rethink our consumption habits and work together towards a more sustainable future. Every small change counts! 🌱

Swap Shops for the win 🏆

Although we’re taking the summer off swapping 💁‍♀️we’ve lined up lots of exciting events from onwards.

We’re seeing swap shops popping up all over the place which we love 💚 When we hosted our first swap shop back in 2019 it was seen as a novelty.

Our LOANHOOD events provide an opportunity not only to prolong the life of clothes but a way to socialise, make new friends, and strengthen community bonds, creating a positive impact beyond just sustainable shopping 🛍️ this helps us realise our three main pillars of

For the 2nd year running we collaborated with the students on their industry project Recrafting the T-shirt 👕♻️ They presented their work in a final show in Camden and we were so impressed how they transformed and elevated the simple T-shirt as a political tool 💪🏻

Congrats to the winners chosen due to their creativity and T-shirts wearability 🏆 and her team .ox and Valeria, and Christian and his team Henry and Sam.
