Good morning beloved, hope you had a divine Sunday, now we are starting a new week and we need a blessed week. Let’s share the message of the week which the Lord just put on my heat.
Luke 5:1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
Luke 5:2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
Luke 5:3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
Luke 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
Luke 5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
Luke 5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
Luke 5:7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Luke 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
Luke 5:9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
Luke 5:10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
Luke 5:11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
*The Topic above, Jesus came to the lake and found fisher men had toiled trying to catch fish and it wasn’t possible, may be it was a new moon and fish saw all the nets.
Peter’s Job was a fisher man, making a living on fishing, the entire family, rent, school fees, bills and all expenses were taken from the same job.
This one morning Jesus found Peter frustrated and tired he had caught nothing.
Jesus asked him to use his boat, to spread the gospel, Peter allowed him, so after Jesus used his boat he told him to launch deeper his nets to catch fish, Peter says we have done the same thing and there was no results, but because of your word, I will.
So Peter Launching his nets he caught much fish even to the breaking of the net.
Now*
May times we struggle with life trying to make a living, some times it’s a real toiling,
But Jesus says let me use your boat which is a representation of your life to spread his kingdom.
Jesus says launch deeper, meaning go deeper in what you are doing, now with Jesus’s blessing, favor, grace, the word of God will work with you.
Don’t give up , listen to the word of the Lord and do it.
You may be toiling, stop and listen and obey to the word of the Lord.
Working with God will draw opportunities to you and your harvest will shock you.
