As reported in the press today, a tea company has spent £50 million pounds and two years to invent a tea bag that can brew the perfect cup of tea in 60 seconds.

What do you think? Money well spent? Frankly I’d rather they kept the money and we have to wait the extra 2 minutes for it to brew. Or better yet, stick to loose leaf!

I am very excited to host the virtual tea party on Sunday. I will be speaking for around 30 minutes followed by time for questions. The whole event shouldn’t last more than one hour.

As I am prepping for my event this Saturday, I thought I would share my list of things I would normally do before an event:

🥪 Confirm any dietary requirements for my guests and plan the menu. Decide if I am going to make everything or order anything. Make a list of all ingredients and go shopping 🛒

🍴 Check what utensils I have and make sure I have enough for the number of guests.

🧚‍♀️ Plan the decorations, this weekend my theme is enchanted garden so I am making sure I have the appropriate decorations and order anything else I need

👩‍🦰 Send guests the info again. This is the time and location. In my case, I will be sending out the webinar details.

There’s a lot that goes into hosting an event! This is what I’ll be doing over the next few days. I’m so pleased that 295 people have already signed up to join me on Sunday. All the information is in the link on my page.
