London’s Air Ambulance Charity are excited to take part in the London to Brighton Cycle again in 2025, as a charity, they rely on the public’s generous support to keep their vital service running. The funds raised will be used to provide advanced trauma care 24/7, 365 days a year, to the 10 million people who visit, live and work within the M25.

London’s Air Ambulance brings the emergency department to the scene of the incident, when someone is so critically injured they don’t have time to get to hospital.

They enable kinder and better treatments, bringing hope for children with the rarest and most complex illnesses and making hospital a little bit easier and a lot more fun for the thousands of children who are treated there every year.” 💙

🪂 Lina and Shivam took on a skydive for GOSH Charity after being inspired by their daughter and sister, Mira, who works at GOSH and they couldn’t have enjoyed their experience more. Read below to find out more…

Mira said; “They both described the experience as surreal and would recommend it! It was my mother’s idea (Lina) for her 50th birthday and my brother (Shivam) decided to support her with that. She decided to raise money for GOSH to help the charity as it holds a close space to her heart with helping young people and me working there. 😊” 🪂

‘My best friend from primary school had Cystic Fibrosis and he died in 1980, when he was 20 years old. His parents gave me his watch, which I still wear and I wore while taking part in the London to Brighton Cycle, I raised over £2000! – Phil Sparkes.

🪂 Lucy Gordon faced her fears and took on a skydive to raise funds for the fantastic charity, Blue Cross. See what Lucy had to say about it below:

"The whole experience was amazing, from booking through the Skyline website, to being kept up to date with what to do on the portal, right through to the skydive itself. My tandem partner was awesome, the whole crew at Hinton were brilliant and the jump was the best thing I’ve ever done. In fact I want to do it again! And that’s coming from someone with a fear of heights and flying.

I wanted to jump for Charity as an incentive to actually do it. Blue Cross is an amazing charity that does fantastic work for animals in need, but also supports bereaved owners after the loss of a beloved pet. I was honoured to be able to help for them!"

“Thank you so much to our team of twenty, life saving cyclists who took part in the London to Brighton Cycle this year. Collectively you have raised enough to fund four potentially life saving missions.

When patients are so seriously injured there is no time to reach hospital, our medics give life-saving treatment at the scene. But we’re a charity - without your support, there is no life-saving air ambulance service for Londoners. Thank you!”
