💙 Mind charity is here to fight for mental health. They understand the struggles people go through and know this needs to change. They stand up to the injustices, they support minds by offering help wherever you may need it and they bring people together to make a difference. 💙

🪂 Victoria wanted to take on a challenge and raise funds for Mind. See what Victoria had to say about her skydive below:

"I found the whole experience to be one of the best things I've ever done. The feeling during freefall and seeing the view from the clouds was incredible. I think I had an out of body experience - I’m unable to describe it! I'm looking to book in another jump as soon as possible and I'd encourage anybody to give it a go once in their lifetime. It's a fantastic way to raise funds for important causes 😊"

You can support this charity by taking part in your own skydive! They will be offering 50% off the original booking fee throughout the whole of January, follow this link to find out more - https://www.mind.org.uk/get-involved/donate-or-fundraise/take-on-an-active-challenge/skydive-for-mind/skydive-for-mind/

💙 “Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity work together with the Great Ormond Street Hospital to go above and beyond for seriously ill children. They enable kinder and better treatments, bringing hope for children with the rarest and most complex illnesses and making hospital a little bit easier and a lot more fun for the thousands of children who are treated there every year.” 💙

🪂 Lina and Shivam took on a skydive for GOSH Charity after being inspired by their daughter and sister, Mira, who works at GOSH and they couldn’t have enjoyed their experience more. Read below to find out more…

Mira said; “They both described the experience as surreal and would recommend it! It was my mother’s idea (Lina) for her 50th birthday and my brother (Shivam) decided to support her with that. She decided to raise money for GOSH to help the charity as it holds a close space to her heart with helping young people and me working there. 😊” 🪂

At St George’s Hospital Charity, we are dedicated to making a difference in our hospitals and the communities we serve.

Everything we do is framed by a commitment to improve the support we can provide to patients, staff and visitors who use our hospitals in our local communities across South West London, Surrey and Sussex.

Our reach

• 1 million patients treated by the Trust
• 148,466 Emergency Department patients (417/day average)
• 3.5 million people access our tertiary services
• 10,190 hardworking, dedicated and outstanding NHS workers

From funding innovative medical research and raising money to purchase vital medical equipment, to improving the experience in hospital for patients and families, St George’s Hospital Charity plays a crucial role. Staying in hospital can be frightening and isolating for many. The work that we do through our Arts Programme and funded projects like our new child friendly play space, help to enhance the environment for those staying in and visiting the hospital.

It is only with the help of our generous supporters and fundraisers that we are able to continue helping the patients and staff being treated across the St George's Healthcare Trust.
