So let’s talk about my absolute, by far, fave new flavour.

THE CHOCOLATE HONEYCOMB
Crushed honeycomb is mixed into the delicious 70% dark chocolate batter, which, when baked, adds an extra gooeyness.

For Christmas, they are drizzled with more dark chocolate, crushed honeycomb, and a chocolate reindeer.

I cannot wait for you to try.

CHRISTMAS 🎅 BROWNIES now live on the website.

Two INCREDIBLE new flavours. Chocolate Honeycomb, which is INSANE. The honeycomb inside goes gooey and has a stiff chocolate mousse texture. I could eat this ALL DAY.

Then there is the white chocolate biscoff flavour. It’s beyond delicious. It’s like the perfect middle ground for dark chocolate.

Both are available in half-slab sizes. Soon to follow are some fave flavours you choose, and if you are a regular, you know I can decorate with some festive toppers
I have limited numbers. Please leave a note at checkout if you want the brownies sent now or before Christmas. The last day for postal with the Royal Mail is Saturday 21st.

I wish those who celebrate Rosh Hashanah
Happy and healthy New Year.
My sister has given me some honey cake. Every year, it’s a family tradition that she makes this recipe, which my grandma passed down to her only !!!

So you see, she had to make the honey cakes as she was the only one lucky enough to be given the recipe.
Maybe I will get my hands on it someday. But honestly, my sister does a great job baking them - I am happy for her to do so ( unless I get the recipe 🤣🤣🤣). And no, chocolate doesn’t go with a honey cake. Well, I don’t think so anyway.
Is anyone else holding onto a guarded family recipe? What would it take for you to share it?

A brand new community page will share all food and drink news, including new menus, pop-ups, special offers, and events, as well as reviews and recommendations.

I would love to grow this group with YOUR help. So when you fancy the best brunch but want to try something new, you can post or search, and it’s all there. You can’t remember the name of that Chinese person once mentioned or that chicken dopiaza, vegan sharma or goat’s milk ice cream. You are only a few keystrokes away from a forum with the best local information.

JUNE MENU:
There are some bestsellers and the new chocolate hazelnut praline brownies in the shop. And half and half boxes.

I do offer some gluten-free and dairy-free.
And lastly, if you don’t like cake for a celebration, my brownie towers have been a popular choice I can customise for you.
Just a reminder that all the brownies are made with the finest coveture, 70% chocolate. Made with no nastiest, just the finest free-range eggs from , flour, sugar, oil and dark cocoa.

My final plea for a vote for Enfield Eats for Best Online Business. Thank you to all who have voted since the beginning. I didn’t expect to be nominated, let alone make it as a finalist. However you spent today celebrating Father’s Day, I hope it was full of fun, feasting, and family, especially if you remembering loved ones.

I may have a bit of a modern take, but why celebrate fathers for one day only?

After all, it’s about enjoying every moment and appreciating small and big gestures all year round. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to grow this wee business without my partner and CTO, Chief tasting officer, and super dad Jamie.

And no, he didn’t get any brownies today, as he always gets to sample them. Thank you for making us a family and being an ace dad.

Thank you very much for those that made this week busy for me. The hazelnut praline brownies will soon be available for purchase on the website.

I can’t believe that this time last year, I pressed the activation button on my dream side hustle, and here we are.

From baking to selling to building a great community of people online to connect with. Alongside creating a platform and taking all the photos. It’s been a labour of love.

From wondering where to start - to learning that packing boxes come in code sizes and, well, my brownies weren’t going to fit through actual letter boxes. It turns out that didn’t matter. I have found some great suppliers, learnt to love wrapping, and made postie pals in the Royal Mail who come to collect the boxes sent out, as more of you bought them through the website.

I have nearly run out of cupboard space. I also have more chocolate in a drawer that is worth more than some jewellery since chocolate is now that expensive. Lastly, I am considering purchasing a giant mixer as I need to make bigger batches.

So, thank you for helping me build my future dream. I am, as ever, slowly adding more deliciousness to the website. And there are some Father’s Day boxes still available. They are epically delicious ( I am being serious).

4 x large brownies (equivalent to half a brownie slab).

The finest 70% dark chocolate brownies are layered with whole roasted hazelnuts. A hazelnut chocolate praline is swirled in, and the brownies are then finished off with dark chocolate, crushed hazelnuts, and edible gold.

Think like a next level Nutella but it’s made the finest ingredients from premium, responsibly sourced cocoa beans and carefully roasted hazelnuts.

These brownies are wrapped in a plastic bag for freshness and then further wrapped in printed white and silver tissue paper. A Happy Father’s Day card is included.

Postal orders will be sent out on the 13th June using Royal Mail 24 hour tracked. Local collections can be made upto the Saturday 15th.

ENFIELD EATS: FOOD SPOTLIGHT
The Winchmore Hill Supperclub

When I began Enfield Eats, I wanted to create a place where I could sell food, i.e., brownies, but ALSO create a space that would celebrate the incredible talent in the neighbourhood. A page and forum on Facebook where foodies of the area come together to share, inform and ignite ideas based on the collective talent that lives in and around the borough of Enfield.

It’s only taken a year, but here we are. And the first FOOD SPOTLIGHT is on Hollie at The Winchmore Hill Supper Club.

On a rare Saturday night with a babysitter a few weeks back - the CTO - my partner Chief Tasting Officer of all brownies, who hadn’t yet been to one of H’s events ( I went in January), decided that we wanted to go. Hollie squished us in at the last minute, and we were treated to an incredible array of fabulous food.

I love you can go knowing the menu; the vibe is relaxed and fun. It’s BYOB, so you can take as little or as much drink as you want, and all the while, you get to support an exciting venture that fills a foodie gap in the market in this area.

It was £55 for four courses and a welcome drink, and for this meal we ate.

To start
BBQ hispi cabbage, tamarind yoghurt, garlic and chilli dressing

Middle
Tuna or roasted pepper tartare, ponzu dressing, avocado crema, tortilla crisps

Main
Harissa chicken or aubergine, black bean mole, zingy slaw

Dessert
Tangy and sweet lemon meringue pie

The menu changes each month and varies at different locations.

Whether you are dining out as a couple or taking your pals, it’s a deliciously fun night outs.
