When St John Vianney Catholic Primary School in London discovered issues with RAAC in their school hall, they suddenly lost vital space, impacting daily school life.

Without the hall, there was nowhere to prepare or serve lunches, and no space for the children to eat together.

Working closely with the school and Barker Associates, we installed three linked marquees to create a safe, warm and practical temporary dining facility — complete with flooring, hard walls & windows, ramps, heating and lighting.

When St Paul’s Church began essential repair works, closing wasn’t an option. The congregation needed space for services, weddings, christenings — even the West End Woofs dog show — all while the main building was under renovation.

Working with the team at St Paul’s, we installed a 6 × 21m temporary church within the consecrated garden — complete with clear PVC panels, solid flooring, lighting, and fire exits.

Built in just two days, the structure allowed parish life to continue seamlessly, providing a bright, comfortable space for the community throughout the works.
