With Christmas rapidly approaching, and The Wanstead Charity in need of help supporting those in need over the winter months, we’re going to run our reverse advent calendar again!

We can take collections from now til 22nd December so that we can get them to the charity in time, please grab an empty box and keep adding to it! You can also donate via the QR code so that we can go out and buy items too.

We also have another charity suprise coming up in collaboration with Daisy Florist Wanstead which we hope will be amazing! Watch this space for that one coming soon!

Daisy Florist Wanstead

Introducing Daisy - yes, that is actually her name above the door - clearly destined to be a florist!
Daisy say’s she owe’s her passion for floristry to her mum who sadly passed away 2 years ago.
Whilst living in South London in 2002, her mum studied a basic floristry course. She saw a shop for rent around the corner from where they were living and decided to go for it. They opened a florist and under her mum’s guidance Daisy learned how to arrange flowers.
Although the business was in South London, Daisy was born and raised in Wanstead and had always considered it her home. So when she took the decision to move back in 2010, the journey over to the shop in South London with 4am starts eventually took it’s toll.
They decided to sell up and Daisy found more local work at ‘Flora’s’ on the High Street. She had been working there for 5 years when the owner retired which offered Daisy the opportunity to fulfil her dream of having her own florist in Wanstead. She bought the shop in 2014 and hasn’t looked back.
She’s responsible for the beautiful flowers you see in Zoology Hairdressing and The Duke - Wanstead and caters for lots of weddings, special occasions as well as dressing homes at Christmas.
She likes to support local and has a range of small batch, handmade scented candles in store by Cera.london and encourages other local makers to get in touch if they have products that they think may work well in the shop.
Keep an eye out as she has plans to stock lots more household plants and a new range of gorgeous modern pots will be in the shop in the very near future.
