Introducing the new location for this Saturdays day party with Nathan Pinder, Sean Galvin, Jamboree residents + more.

🛀 The Baths in Hackney Wick is an iconic building, it’s home to the renowned Giant Steps parties that run Brilliant Corners. It has an indoor space in case it rains, where you will find the dance floor. The room has lots of natural light with outdoor access.

☀️ It has a large outdoor garden area with seating to chill out and soak up the sun. We also have a woodfired pizza hut open in the garden in case you get hungry.

📍The Baths are a 7-minute walk from Hackney Wick station.

🕒 The opening hours are the same as scheduled, 2pm-12am.

Our next party is on 1 July. We return to for another all day open-air affair in the heart of Hackney Wick. Our headliner has releases on Peaky Beats, Instinct & Fraise Records to name a few. The first person to guess correctly gets two tickets.

‘I’m Still Life resident and co-founder. I’m also our in-house designer. I love giving up and coming artists a platform and seeing months of hard work come together on the dance floor. I really enjoy loopy, driving, electronic sounds and love slowly building the vibe and energy of the party to see it in full flow’

‘I first played this record at charity live stream during lockdown and it hasn’t left my bag since. It has a slamming beat, housey organs and an explosive drop - what more could you want?’

‘I learned how to mix in my late teens on a pair of belt driven Numarks using my parents acid, house and techno vinyl from the late 80’s and 90’s, most of which I was lucky enough to inherit. These influences have carried through to today, helping to carve my sound and approach to mixing. That said, I’m always digging for new music and enjoy the resurgence of trends coming through, very much reflective in my sets today.’

‘Here’s a track that doesn’t leave my bag… Taste Test by Titonton Divanté from his LP release on the Starbaby imprint in 1999. I feel given it’s age it’s super reflective of the sort of sound you’d hear at a lot of house events nowadays, a great mix of electrc spacey sounds, housey pads, loads of hats, claps and a pacey bass-line. A true timeless classic in my opinion!’

Magda is everyone’s Favourite Polish Scouser. Magda and Manalou first met at Sunwaves in 2017. They both shared the same passions of creative design and dance music. When Still Life was launched, we asked Magda if she would VJ for us at Brewhouse where we had Mihai Pol for his UK debut. This was her first ever VJ gig. She put on an amazing show and is now fully part of team that curates our parties.

Her Favourite Still Life memory is when we booked Francesco Del Garda and Christian AB. She would often jokingly say ‘let’s book Francesco & Christian’ thinking it would never happen.
