Back together again and ready to blow apart Mirth, Marvel & Maud, Thee Hypnotics’ third studio album, The Very Crystal Speed Machine, is finally set to be released in the UK as part of the Righteously Recharged vinyl boxset.
Here, singer Jim Jones, guitarist Ray Hanson, drummer Phil Smith and bassist Will Pepper give the low down on its fraught recording with The Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson and the ill-fated US tour that followed.
