From helping out on weddings, private parties, creative events, to yoga mornings, Hatch is looking for those flexible enough to take shifts on board. If you are looking for casual work, get in touch.

Events will mostly run from Thursday to Sunday and we are going to let you know with enough time in advance, to make sure you can joggle other jobs too.

Featuring a gawjuss Malaysian menu by Rojak London, these 4 nights at Hatch will bring you everything you need to enjoy your evening to the fullest. Open to everyone age 4+, this show was originally written for Woodford Folk Festival's Fire Event Closing Ceremony 2016.

This event is also special to our team, as it is our first show here after the madness of the last couple of years.

Christine Wong is a Hackney based pop-up chef heading up Rojak.London. Her cooking style is as multiplex as her life journey; taking her from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Los Angeles and London.

Her life journey helped to forge her iconoclastic modern Malaysian concept she's dubbed 'Rojak', which relives Malaysia's culinary melting point of Malay, Chinese & Indian food, but also borrows techniques and dishes from cooking along her route, with a grounding in seasonal, quality British produce

Dear Friends,

We know we have been a bit quiet through the turmoil of the last couple of years, but we have a final update on where we are heading with Hatch.

Firstly, the news that a lot of people have been asking…. When is the cafe reopening?

Sadly, for the time being Hatch will not be opening for day-to-day operations. It was a really hard decision to make as we loved being part of such a special community.

Secondly, although, the last 18 months have been challenging, we managed to keep the business going with the support of a unique partnership with the East London NHS Foundation Trust.

Currently the NHS are using the venue for Creative Mental Health workshops, activities and therapeutic groups on a Mon-Thu weekly basis. Open to public every Wednesday between 5pm and 7pm for a board game night run by the local charity "Universal Board Games". Just pop by.

Behind the scenes of the “NEW HATCH” we have been working hard to get the space ready to focus purely on events.

From October 2021 we will be starting with morning Yoga classes with a takeaway breakfast.

Now if you want a big open space for a good ol party or event then we are here for you!
