"superb...a consummately delivered piece of silliness" - Fringe Review, Recommended Show

Before there were knights, there were idiots who thought swinging a sword and being a hero were pretty much interchangeable.

Squires is a historical workplace comedy turned comedy of errors as a group of unlikely friends come together under a common goal: to not be accused of murder. Squires looks at pressing issues like 'how crappy is a first job exactly' and 'can you speedrun inventing the concept of gravity in a single afternoon'. The answer to both is 'yes'.

Holy Grail meets Twelfth Night with a side of New Girl in a story of pigs, bis*xual panic, and accusations of heresy.

This Sunday & Monday, get in the holiday spirit with...

Ghost Stories For Christmas🎄🎅🏻

Following in the fine festive tradition of telling ghostly stories by the fireside, join Edwyrdian Tales for an evening of haunting dark delights set during Christmastide. Our night of seasonal spirits features terrors from some of the finest authors of their age… W. W. Jacobs, Algernon Blackwood and A. M. Burrage.

In Jerry Bundler, patrons gather in a London tavern at Christmastime swapping traditionally terrifying ghost stories, only to discover the establishment itself is haunted…

In Smee, some festive parlour games are just the thing to raise some spirits. But it’s always wise to know how many people are hiding in the house before you start trying to seek them…

And finally in The Kit-Bag, packing for the Christmas holidays takes a turn for the worse as a young lawyer finds his recent gruesome trial comes back to haunt him. Bone chilling tales to conjure the spirits of Christmas...

💀 Death and the Cat opens this week! 💀

Death and his pet cat, Panther have been guiding the souls of the dead into the afterlife for time untold. Until they have a falling out, that is, and the Grim Reaper's pet cat runs away.

Alone, angry, and missing his best friend, Death goes rogue, sending the universe tumbling into chaos. And that's just the beginning...

Featuring gods, demons, a harrowing taxi ride, a spooky hotel, and a pub in Wales, this is a tale exploring life, death, friendship, and the lengths we'll go for the ones we love.

Changing Rooms
November 24th-25th

Genevieve is alone in a changing room, writing fan fiction. Loser. But someone has taken her notebook, and it has to have been one of the four girls intent on ruining her life.

They’re going to find all the bad poetry and love letters to Jack (that boy everyone wants) and all of the terrible things she’s said about the girls themselves, so naturally her life is over.

She has to get that notebook back, and she has to get her period, and she has to understand the meaning of life and being a woman, and she has to unpack the deeply instilled nature of female stereotypes, and she has an hour to do it.

Ordnance opens TONIGHT

Atkinson, a young British cartographer drawing up borders in 1880s Afghanistan, stumbles into an affair with Virginia, the estranged wife of an exiled and arrogant botanist, sparking self-reflection on their national, personal and s*xual identities.

Set in the shadow of war and espionage between the colonial empires of Great Britain and Russia, Ordnance is a theatre production about imposed and manmade borders, both personal and physical, and how they can categorise, restrict and shape identity.

Opening tomorrow...⚰️🦷 Funeral Teeth 🦷⚰️

Maybe you’ve lost your marbles… Or maybe you’ve found the most transformative piece of theatre that you’ll see this year. Probably both.

What and who are we allowed to grieve? And does that really matter?

Lose yourself (geddit?) in the latest piece by Succulent Theatre, unpacking what loss looks like to them, what it looks like to you, and what it could look like for all of us.

Drugs, s*x, love, family and friendship are at the centre of this contemplative work which really puts the ‘fun’ in funeral.

Following the success of their debut show ‘NASTY: ‘Big’ girls being gross, mean and s*xy’, the Succulent girlies are back with another q***r, autobiographical, confessional piece of theatre that’s gut-busting and gut-wrenching in equal measure.

MOREAU runs this Sunday & Monday

None escape!

When a traumatised hospital patient suddenly becomes violent, he is forced to process the horrors of his past and present, challenging everything he knows. Will he find inner peace before he is permanently written off as broken and dangerous? Is it ever possible to truly escape the clutches of MOREAU?

A modern and contemporary take on the science fiction horror classic The Island of Dr Moreau by HG Wells, MOREAU reimagines the story to explore memory, therapy, identity, rebellion and ultimately, hope.

My Wife Fell in Love with a Life Size Cardboard Cut-out of Ronan Keating

Written by PT Rose
Adapted for the London stage by Tegwyn Burges

A Clown has completed a college degree in mysticism, those close to him sneer at its usefulness in the real world. His partner suffers abandonment issues while her mother and grandmother battle over the merits of Bowie against Presley and the daughter has her own tussle with gender identity, Buddhism and eating fads. A recent convert to Islam pops up to offer his views on fate while an Elvis impersonator takes notes and a full size cardboard cutout of Ronan Keating silently observes.

Tonight is your last opportunity to catch HOME TIME!

As Jennifer waits for her son to return from school, she is forced to face up to the dark truth about her life.

A meditation on motherhood, David Hendon’s writing is first class in this surprising, shocking and heart wrenching monologue, brought to life theatrically by director Paula Chitty and actress, Elizabeth George.

A finalist at The Kenneth Branagh Award in 2017 where it was hailed a triumph.

On New Year's Eve, as the ball drops in Times Square, Ray plans to tell the world that fathers have rights! However, running into career-obsessed Rani and her colleague Jack have made his plans go so south that he winds up taking them hostage.

This darkly funny staged reading spotlights how facts taken out of context lead to false assumptions while those in power are invested in keeping us depleted and apart.

It is the second of Somi De Souza's Freedom Trilogy plays, the first of which, Revolution In A Catsuit, was performed in 2023 to popular acclaim.

🧙OPENING TONIGHT🧙

Join us as we reclaim Lady Macbeth and celebrate women who don't conform to society's expectations and the power of female networks!

Lady Macbeth has had a bad rap down through the years- known as the 'fiend-like queen' and a byword for evil manipulation. Inspired by the real Lady Macbeth (Gruoch), Lady Macbeth Uncut seeks to redress this, telling the story from Lady Macbeth's point of view. The play sheds new light on her motivation to seize the throne and builds empathy for a powerful woman striving for control over her life. The 'Witches' get a complete reboot as well, and together they challenge the structures and prejudices that seek to hold them back.

Alongside the production, there will be a panel discussion, networking events for women and workshops on building a sisterhood.
