Birthday lunch. We haven’t been to for a few years and we had a lovely lunch celebrating my wife and my birthdays. The food highly skilled classic cooking full of flavour, and was absolutely delicious. They very kindly adapted a dish for my daughter, which she absolutely loved.

It’s been a while I know🤦‍♂️. Here are some pics from a private event I did a couple of months ago for a lovely client in Chelsea.

“Date night” from a few weeks back at . Absolutely the phenomenal meal and great service! Really good portion size and all things considered it was good value (oysters were pricey but they were a treat and were amazing). The restaurant vibe was great and the bar downstairs was just as nice for a couple of cocktails.
Starters- Rillette and Tartare, Mains- Ox tongue and Skate, Desserts- Trifle and creme caramel.

Canapés with Mexican vibes 🇲🇽, from an event I did last year. Canapés may look simple and disappear in a mouthful, but they are a lot of work and very fiddly.

-Beef brisket with crispy taco, pickled red onion, citrus mayo
-Chicken tinga taco, avocado, chipotle
-Sweet potato croquette, spiced yogurt, spring onion

New post alert 🚨 It has been quite a few months since I have posted and this is the start of my annual photo drop and then I will disappear for months again🤦‍♂️. These pics are from a dinner I did as my donation for Friends of St Stephens a few months back. I really enjoy the process of creating bespoke menus and experimenting with different products and techniques. My wife and I were also invited to join in the eating also, so it was a fantastic evening.

On the menu was:
- Sea Bream crudo, tomato dashi, cucumber, kohlrabi
- Red prawns, roasted prawn seeet soy, pickled seaweed
- King oyster mushroom carbonara, shiitake, crispy Parmesan (missing pic😩)
- Hogget, baby artichoke, sweetcorn, ginger
- Dark chocolate fondant, miso, peanut

A few snap shots of a private dinner party for 8 people 🇬🇧 I did a few days ago in Chelsea. On the menu that night:
- Salmon crudo, kohlrabi, ponzu, blood orange
- Fagotelli carbonara, enoki mushrooms, tellycherry pepper
- Slow cooked beef short rib, fennel, caramelised apple and miso, red wine jus

- Carlingford Rock Oysters
watercress, horseradish, jalapeño -Sourdough
whipped gochujang butter
-Ceviche of Salmon
wasabi, mango, yuzu, lime
-Prawn Dumpling
consommé, red prawn, red dulse (missing picture 🤦‍♂️)
-Welsh Wagyu Short Rib
smoked potato foam, salsify, purple sprouting broccoli
-Rhubarb “Crumble”
custard, miso, pumpkin seeds

Gigha Halibut. This 9.2kg beauty was for a private event I did recently. An absolutely stunning fish from the Isle of Gigha in Scotland. These fish are sustainable and are fed a completely organic diet, and they taste delicious!!

Legends. Had the pleasure to meet some amazing chefs, and eat some great food, for the press launch the other week . I didn’t get chance to grab a picture with this time but when they say “never meet your heroes” I can assure you that this is NOT the case with him, ABSOLUTE SUPERSTAR. Love how he goes round to every person in the place and introduces himself, like we don’t know who he is!! Chuffed to be able to say congratulations, in person, to on the 3⭐️, great guys. Ollie Dabbous was a gent. it was a pleasure to finally get to eat your food, stunning 🐙 . The whole day was inspiring and made me miss the good old days working in Michelin kitchens, but not the hours and stress 🤣.

, Endo Kazutoshi’s sister restaurant to the Michelin starred Endo at Rotunda. An absolutely epic meal here!! Managed to get a last minute table here a couple of weeks ago for an impromptu dinner with my wife, and it blew us away. We have never been to a high end sushi restaurant before, so we didn’t really know what to expect. From the moment we walked through the door we new it was going to be great. We were sat on the counter right in front of the chef, and to watch the truly skilled chefs work was fascinating. The head chef created a kind of tasting menu for us (not all dishes pictured), and every item we ate was stunning. And the cocktails!!! Wow!! The wasabi one was 🔥.
