Guildhall Events are thrilled to share that we have been awarded a Gold Award by Green Meetings! 🌿

The award formally recognises Guildhall’s sustainable and responsible practices from a globally recognised scheme as an indicator of strong environmentally friendly practices and as a hallmark of ‘green quality.’

The certification recognises our total commitment to sustainable, responsible and ethical business practices and demonstrates our ability to do so against the backdrop of a Grade 1 listed venue dating back almost 2,000 years.

🧀🍷…..In honour of National Cheese and Wine Day today, we’re taking a look back at the amazing portfolio tasting that took place across the Guildhall complex in February this year.

Our spaces were transformed by , and into bustling wine and spirit tasting experiences. The Old Library hosted a divine wine pairing lunch, created by the amazing , although we couldn’t forget the iconic room turn around achieved by , resetting the Old Library for back to back lunches with less than an hour to do so.

What a day it was to not only celebrate achievements but also showcase how well Guildhall and our suppliers can collaborate to create the perfect day.

Yesterday at the in our Great Hall, William Russell took office as the 692nd Lord Mayor of London. Today, as part of the , he travelled in the 262-year old State Coach from to the Royal Courts of Justice to be sworn in. captured the waiting coach, used every year since 1757, perfectly on a crisp November morning.
