We’ve had a flurry of new followers, so thought I’d introduce myself. I’m Johanna, the passionate entrepreneur and floral designer behind Johanna Pedrick Flowers.
Born in Middlesex but I grew up in New Zealand from the age of four, where I developed a love for nature and the outdoors. In my late teens, I moved to England for my OE travel (overseas experience) and trained in floristry.

I met my husband in Dorset and we lived in London and in Holland before moving back to Auckland to set up and run my own retail flower shop. In 2011, we returned to England with our young family of 3 kiwi boys.

Based in the Borough of Richmond, in London, I work from my home studio, specializing in creating beautiful bespoke wedding florals. With over 20 years experience we focus on personal service, attention to detail, and creating memorable designs for our couples.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, strength training at the gym and being outdoors. A huge coffee lover with a sweet tooth for Carrot Cake and NZ sweets called Pineapple Lumps. Loving comfort and durability you’ll find me in my flower Dr Marten’s, as I have a soft spot for everything floral. I’m a Celeste Barber fan and excited to have secured tickets to see her live show in London. As a mum of three Kiwi teenage sons my goal this year is a coastal holiday and still getting back up to stand on a surfboard!

Loved creating this floral meadow design, for the cutest Indy’s special 🐾 signing. The perfect flower background for K & A’s beautiful intimate humanist ceremony.
It is always worth investing in statement ceremony flowers.
After the ceremony we moved all these flowers so they could be enjoyed whilst everyone dined, decorating the front of the cake table and Garden room.

For Nicola - a fully wired cascade bridal bouquet, perfectly captured by
I love the process of creating a fully wired cascade or teardrop bouquet. Each flower stem is individually cut short, wired and then reconstructed to create these elegant timeless bridal bouquets. Wired bouquets are labour intensive, take skill and hours to create but it’s always a dream when a bride loves this style.

It is Christmas Eve and as we head into Christmas festivities, I want to thank all my lovely couples for many beautiful memories flowering your weddings ✨
We feel very honoured to have created your flowers and worked alongside all the fantastic wedding suppliers and amazing venues you have chosen. It really means the world to us to be part of your special day. Thank you for trusting us to bring your floral dreams to life.
Wishing everyone we’ve had the pleasure to work with a very Merry Christmas filled with love and laughter, keeping loved ones near and in your hearts. Embrace this relaxing time together, recharge your batteries, and enjoy some Bubbles and Christmas mince pies with family and friends.
We are taking some family time off to spend with my husband and 3 boys over the festive break. Looking forward to an exciting year ahead, creating, flowering, planning and meeting our booked couples for 2025 from 6 January.

Our last wedding for 2024 is this week and I’ve now collected all the flowers from the flower market early this morning. It’s all white and going to be beautifully stylish, including some Calla, Hellebores and Roses so a touch of the Christmas season.
Pedestal urns there’s nothing more elegant for your ceremony flowers.
If you are at different venues for your wedding ceremony and reception then pedestals are perfect for repurposing and moving. We will return after your ceremony and collect these urns, deliver and set them up at another venue for your wedding breakfast so they can be enjoyed for the whole day.
