On the 6th July 2020, the government updated the information for Community facilities with the details for what is permissible to take place within these facilities.

The pertinent points are:
- Mass gatherings still cannot take place.
- weddings with up to 30 guests (number includes any staff not employed by the venue, ie. Photographer, caterer, etc.) can take place.
- Meetings and social groups (Parish council, non-sporting social groups) can take place
- Social distancing must still apply.
- where more than 30 people are present for meetings or groups, the maximum number is to be based upon a social distanced total.
- Users should social distance from those they do not live with or limit to those from two households (or support bubble).
- Indoor performances and loud music are not allowed at this time.
- Sports that would normally take place in a gym, sports venue of dance studio are not allowed.

Disappointingly, this means, with the exception of Weddings of no more than 30 people, no other private events can take place until further guidance is given.

In the meantime, we are doing all that we can to ensure when changes to the current restrictions which will allow the hall to resume, the hall will be ready to open without delay.
