As colourful statement florals have taken off, I know it can be hard to imagine the final look of your wedding decor or bridal party when the flowers are the main focus. Alex and Ed wanted to celebrate their love at the start of those warm summer days, embracing all the beautiful seasonal flowers that come with it. Winning South West Florist of the Year at the National Wedding Awards last year was an incredible moment—especially because it was voted for by my amazing couples. Their kind words and trust in my work made the award even more special, and I’m so grateful to be a part of their wedding journeys.⁣

But the excitement didn’t end there! Winning my regional award meant I was invited to the National Awards in London, where the winners are chosen by a panel of industry professionals.⁣

DETAILS ❤️ The reception space was dressed to perfection for Claire and Mark’s wedding breakfast. Long banquet tables were adorned with low arrangements featuring Anthuriums protruding elegantly, along with Ikebana-inspired designs and a mix of candles in the couple’s bold colour palette. The result was a striking yet intimate dining experience. ⁣

This was a beautiful wedding at @botleysmansion in Surrey. It was all hands on deck for a speedy setup and change-around but we nailed it! Huge thanks to @paperandsprig, @jessicapassant and @amycarlileflowers for your freelance hands!

These are the things I reused after my last wedding! If you've not seen that wedding, go and check out my last reel as it's all there and it was a stunner 🥰 - First up we have the reusable cable ties - all of these have been used lots of times in different installations You just use the little tab to release them but they hold just as well as normal ones. Then we have the chicken wire, again used in everything from arches to table designs, all gets taken apart to be reused. The moss goes back into a black thick bag to keep nice and fresh. - Any flowers that dry nicely, we bundle up and hang upside down in the studio to hopefully use them in a design in the future. Any leftover fresh flowers get donated to @confetticlublondon who dry them and sell them as confetti with the proceeds going to various charities. A fun 'start to finish' reel from my last wedding! I just worked out that overall there was about 26 hours of work in that wedding, that's almost an hour for every second of the video! - It was absolutely beautiful though and I can't wait to see the professional pics! - Hope you enjoy a little more behind the scenes of the process, I love these videos from other business so going to try making a few more myself!
