World vegan month is celebrated every November, helping to raise awareness of the health benefits and global impact of a plant based diet.

We always like to provide a selection of options for our customers, Including vegetarian, vegan and healthy choices. This month we will be creating even more vegan dishes that not only taste fantastic, but are also helping to address food waste by Including as much of our produce as possible.

This deconstructed stuffed pepper ratatouille, with no waste fried spring onion ends and slow roasted courgette tops, was made onsite today by our talented executive chef Stuart. Finished with a homemade houmous and delicate herb oil, this elevated dish tasted as good as it looked.

At Bespoke, we are always looking at increasing the health benefits we get from our food anyway we can. Adding a cos / romaine lettuce to your salad is a great way to up your nutritional intake. With roughly the same calorie count and fibre as an iceberg, the mighty cos has a significantly higher nutritional value. Particularly high in vitamins A and K, providing around 80% and 60% respectively, of your body's recommended daily intake.

Friday night was a very special celebration for the BFG team.

Our first team attendance at the Association of Catering Excellence annual charity dinner, and the first one hosted by our very own managing director Francois, as he takes over the reigns from Sarah Prentice as the new chairman.

It was a fabulous evening, at the glamorous Plaisterers Hall, a stunning venue right in the heart of the city. The team of chefs prepared a sumptuous feast with some incredible produce.

All proceeds from the night go directly to ACE'S new charity London's Community Kitchen. Helping to address food insecurity and feed some of the most vulnerable communities across London.

We have had a fabulous couple of days celebrating Diwali.

By collaborating with our clients and customers, we have come together to create some truly authentic dishes. Ravish and his extra special team created a colourful feast packed with delicious, traditional flavours.

With a selection of homemade sweets, alongside plenty of handmade chapati, samosas, multi coloured papdi, sambharo and a rich, creamy paneer curry. It was a feast worthy of such a special celebration.

Diwali preparations are well underway at one of our London sites.

Diwali is the annual celebration of light and happiness, celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains all over the world. It symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. It is a time of celebration and hope, where family and friends come together to enjoy fireworks, food and festivities.

Today is world pasta day so we have created a fabulous pop up at one of our sites.

Featuring a selection of pasta from rigatoni, spaghetti or gnocchi to a choice of sauces, featuring a slow cooked sausage ragu, classic pesto or a spicy chilli tomato. With some tempting sides of freshly baked garlic bread and Caprese salad, or a starter of crispy arancini, the choice won't be easy. Just make sure to save some room for the traditional tiramisu.

Kick menu boredom to the kerb. Your lunchtime deserves a little pizzazz!

Oktoberfest celebrations were in full swing this week at one of our sites. A delicious gourmet hot dog pop up featuring tasty bratwurst sausages and a range of toppings and sides. From golden onion rings, creamy potato salad and homemade sauerkraut, to some perfectly crispy and tender pork schnitzel slices. At Bespoke Food Group, we take our commitment to reducing food waste seriously and are proud to partner with Angry Monk to source an incredible array of fresh produce that would otherwise end up in landfill due to shape, size or even just due to a particularly generous harvest.

The fabulous dishes that our talented teams have been creating this week have been making the most of some wonderful autumnal vegetables. A comforting vegetable pie with a golden potato topping, and a roasted vegetable and fresh pesto pasta made for some delicious vegetarian main courses. Our salad bars too, have taken a seasonal twist with roasted butternut squash, cumin and feta salad, and a baby aubergine and chick pea salad with a peppery rocket pesto.

Food waste is one of the biggest challenges facing the catering industry.

At Bespoke Food Group, we have committed to making as much of a difference as we can with our "waste not" campaign. Part of that campaign is to use as much of our fresh produce as possible and we have some fabulous recipes on hand to make the most of fruit and vegetables that are a little older and more ripe.

With around 1.4 to 1.6 million bananas thrown away every day in the UK alone, this deliciously versatile fruit is actually in it's prime as it ages a little. Making the perfect rich yet healthy addition for a whole host of baked goods.

These tempting banana muffins were freshly baked at one of our sites, filled with lots of sweet, ripe banana and topped with a satisfying crunch of toasted oats.

This week we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of our second recruit, Heather Day. Heather joined us in the early stages, before we launched, and has been an amazing addition to the BFG team. From the beginning, we always knew who we wanted on our founding team, and Heather was always a part of it. She's done a brilliant job in a tough first year where we ended up surpassing all of our targets, while her bubbly personality brought some fun along the way. Her input has been inspirational and she has helped shape our company into something we are all very privileged to be a part of. She is determined, creative, and adds her own special flair to a company with so many different, wonderful characters. As we take the next step on our journey we can't wait to see what the future holds for this superstar.

High in antioxidants and low in calories, cucumbers are a highly versatile addition to a healthy diet.

We love to use cucumbers as part of our hydration stations as their delicate flavour is perfect for adding a subtle and refreshing taste for our flavoured waters.

Our Chef Director Mark has been working on an exciting new collaboration with the Muller company.
Creating delicious alternatives for people with food allergies and intolerances has long been a passion of Mark’s and he has created some fabulous new recipes for Muller’s new plant based range.
We wanted to incorporate this innovative new range at Bespoke, so we have taken the traditional lassi and given it a vegan makeover at one of our sites today. Our customers were treated to a refreshingly different, plant-based alternative to the usually dairy heavy yoghurt drink.

They are used for beautiful autumnal decoration everywhere, from shops and restaurants to peoples homes, especially in the week before Halloween. We are proud to announce that we raised £250.20 for the Macmillan cancer charity at our Macmillan coffee morning last week (Although we did it all week to raise as much as we could) Our wonderful clients have promised to match what we raised so that is an "Amazing" £500.40 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Our team worked their socks off to put on a wonderful display of the most delicious cakes and sweet treats and our customers really did have a hard time choosing from the many tempting options hashtag hashtag hashtag

Macmillan coffee morning
The Macmillan cancer support charity has been organising their annual coffee mornings since 1990. Originally a small affair with a simple idea. People coming together over coffee and donating the price of a cup to the Macmillan charity.
It is now a national phenomenon raising vital funds for this wonderful charity whilst being a fun way of connecting with friends and colleagues over coffee and cake.
2023 saw an incredible £18,041,302 raised across the country. Enough to fund 288 Macmillan nurses for a whole year.
As a new company, still in our first year, this is our very first Macmillan coffee morning and our team has really pushed the boat out with a tempting selection of homemade cakes and sweet treats to choose from.
With such classics like treacle tart, lemon drizzle (by popular request) Carrot Cake (by popular request) sponge cake with jam and coconut, baked cheese cake (Polish style), vegan peanut butter and banana cupcakes, chocolate & guinness (0% alcohol) cake, cherry & almond tray bake, Tuscan cantucci (biscotti), ginger loaf cake and many more. Our customers really will be spoilt for choice. We will also have recipe cards available for anyone wanting to recreate their favourites at home.

International day of awareness of food loss and waste
The International day of awareness of food loss and waste has been a global event since 2019.
Held on the 29th September every year, the aim is to promote responsible consumption and production and address the impact of food insecurity, food safety, climate change and economic instability.
At Bespoke, we take our commitment to tackling food waste as one of our most important responsibilities and work with some fabulous suppliers that share our ethos.
We also have our own “Waste Not” campaign that encourages using as much of our produce as possible. These delicious and nutritious pickles are made onsite to accompany our lunchtime offerings. With a selection of fresh crunchy cucumbers, red onion and chilli, julienne carrots and fresh red chillis. We even use the carrot tops for a truly waste free and tasty option.

Yes, the simple but delicious bacon butty gets it’s very own day of celebration and we simply couldn’t let this day pass without paying homage to one of our favourite breakfasts (at any time of the day).

In true Bespoke style, our offer is as individual as our clients. We love to challenge the status quo and customers loved the twist on this family favourite...Wait for it.....
"Bacon filled donuts"... Alongside traditional hearty baps
"Traditional or With a Twist" what would you choose? Almost all our customers went "Twist" and tried the donut bacon butty! Yum.
We know it makes you think....But they were "Oh so tasty" ...Think Salty, Sweet & definitely Naughty! 😋 With a choice of hearty maple glazed back bacon or streaky bacon for that extra crunch. Accompanied with a whole host of extras from chilli jam, cream cheese, wholegrain mustard, pickled red cabbage & juicy beefsteak tomatoes. Our vegetarian customers aren’t going to feel too left out with a fabulously decadent miso glazed aubergine alternative.

Our team was out and about last night for one of the most fun nights in the contract catering calendar. Our very first entry into the Association of Catering Excellence annual Ready Steady Cook competition.

We may not have won this time but our chefs Stuart and Ravish created two spectacular and beautiful dishes. Gressingham duck glazed in Lee Valley farm organic wildflower honey with confit leg, grilled glazed liver, confit apple, potato terrine, black garlic puree, and a crunchy duck crackling. With a vegetarian alternative of miso glazed, grilled aubergine, aubergine caviar, chilli, coriander and shallot dressing and a miso beurre blanc, topped with a delicate nut brittle.

It was great to see the industry come together for this wonderful event and we are so proud of both Stuart and Ravish for their incredible debut.

There's no place for menu fatigue when you Bespoke your lunchtime.

Customers at one of our sites were treated to a taste of Spain today with a delicious, traditional paella pop up.

Packed with succulent seared chicken, tasty chorizo, plump mussels, tender squid and delicate prawns, this was a hearty summer dish bejeweled with fresh tomatoes, roasted red peppers and plenty of fresh herbs.

For those that had room there was a naughty but nice dessert option of homemade churros with a rich chocolate dipping sauce.

Always one of the most popular dishes in contract catering is the mighty Kebab.
The combination of perfectly grilled meat, soft pillowy flatbreads and a rainbow of fresh, crisp salads is a truly winning combination.
Our delicately spiced chicken took centre stage with homemade pickled red cabbage, fiery chilli sauce and a generous drizzle of yoghurt dressing to cool things down.
