This month we say goodbye to someone who’s shaped Bespoke Food Group from day one — Giovanna Carta.

Gio has worked with Francois since 2006 and was the very first person to join him when BFG was formed. She’s now had to return home to Sardinia for family reasons, and while we’re proud she’s putting loved ones first, the gap she leaves is huge.

Gio isn’t just a colleague. She’s one of the warmest, most generous, loyal and hard-working people we’ve ever had the privilege to work with. She lived our values before we’d even written them down.

Francois puts it best:
“Gio has been such a big part of my life. She’s the first person I brought with me in my last two companies and, after nearly 20 years together, I can’t picture doing this without her. She’s like family and we miss her already.”

Gio — you’ll always have a place at BFG. The door is open, always.

Preventing menu fatigue with a colourful pop up.

Our shawarma pop-up brought a fresh and vibrant touch to lunchtime, featuring tender, marinated meat served alongside a carefully curated selection of colourful salads. From crisp slaws and bright pickles to fresh herbs and sides, each element was prepared onsite to create balance, flavour and texture in every plate. A generous and well-considered spread that offered a flavourful alternative to the everyday lunch experience.

🐝SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL BEES🐝

We're excited to share that we're installing a bee garden, complete with carefully managed hives, at our luxury residential site in Pimlico.

This space has been designed to support the health and welfare of local bees by providing a safe habitat and rich source of pollen-friendly plants.

Bees play a vital role in our ecosystem and the future of sustainable food, so this initiative is an important step in contributing to biodiversity right on our doorstep.

We're proud to invest in meaningful environmental action, starting with the smallest, and most essential workers of all.

Looking back on October, it's been a meaningful month of sharing culture, celebrations and collaboration.

We honoured black history month with a delicious menu of soul food classics. We celebrated Diwali with a menu full of colour and tradition. And we closed the month with some spooktackular Halloween fun.
