This week is National Butchers Week. Celebrated every year, on the first full week of March, this awareness event is used to celebrate and recognise the craftsmanship, history and importance of the skilled butcher.

From traditional craft butchery to innovation in
sustainable and ethical farming, this week is a tribute to the expertise and dedication that butchers bring to the table.

At Bespoke Food Group, we take great pride in our partnerships with some very special artisan suppliers. Working alongside such companies as Black Apple Wagyu, The Jolly Hog and Birtwistles Catering Butchers, to create some absolutely delicious dishes with exceptional quality meats.

So let's take this week to celebrate the dedication, craftsmanship, and care of butchers across the UK. And remember to support your local butcher if you're lucky enough to have one near you and enjoy the best of British meat!

This coming Thursday is National chilli day so our chefs have been busy creating some gorgeously colourful creations to celebrate this bold, spicy powerhouse of a comfort dish.

Packing a punch with its fiery blend of seasoned beef, beans, and bold spices like cumin, chili powder, and garlic. This hearty dish has deep roots in Tex-Mex cuisine and never fails to satisfy with its rich, smoky flavors and thick, robust texture. Whether you're cranking up the heat or keeping it mild, chili con carne is the ultimate crowd-pleaser.

We've gone all out to create a three-course meal that will get your taste buds dancing with a delicious cheesy nachos starter and golden, crunchy churros with an indulgent caramel sauce for dessert.

Our chefs have been busy creating the menu for this very special event which will be held at the Urban Farmer, based in the Fleet street quarter on March 18th.

Our executive chef team were busy this week visiting some extra special potential partners.

Meeting up with the fabulous team at London's iconic Galeta Bakery and tasting their delicious cakes and pastries was a tough job but somebody had to do it.

Starting out as a market stall on the famously prestigious King's Road they proved so popular that their entire stock sold out in two hours flat. They now have a significantly larger operation but maintain the same care and attention to detail as ever. Award winning, homemade baked goods, made with 100 percent natural ingredients. This East London gem showcases the very best of British baking.

💛 Happy Palentines Day 💛

We all know that it's valentines day tomorrow but have you heard of palentines day?

Celebrated on the 13th of February, palentines day is a celebration of friendship and platonic relationships. A perfect chance to get together with friends and maybe spoil them a little.

Bespoke Food Group has you covered with these adorable and delicious, jam filled, Viennese biscuits. All made in-house by our talented chef Ravish, these have been flying off the shelves all morning.

We have been busy this week, launching our incredible wagyu burgers. The response so far has been phenomenal and we are so proud of everyone involved.

As the only independent contract caterer in the UK to offer luxurious wagyu beef as an everyday counter-service option in B&l staff restaurants, we are continuing to shake things up in the corporate catering world.

A special thank you to Black Apple Wagyu for their
incredible support in making this a success and helping us to champion British farmers and agriculture. By sourcing directly from their beautiful farm & facilities in Yorkshire we have a fully traceable, delicious meat of the absolute highest quality.

When it comes to making small changes in your diet that have a significant impact on your health, try swapping your regular potato dish for a sweet potato dish once a week.

Packed with more vitamins, fibre, and antioxidants than regular potatoes, they also have a lower glycemic index. Releasing sugars into the bloodstream more slowly and preventing the post-lunchtime energy crash.

From next week we will be bringing our brand new wagyu burger concept to all our sites, making us the only independent contract caterer in the UK to offer luxurious wagyu beef as an everyday counter service option in b&i staff restaurants.

The staff canteen has never looked more luxurious.

As one of the few independent contract caterers in the market, it's important to us to work with companies that share our ethos.

The East London mushroom collective is championing hyper-local food production in a closed loop system. By sourcing waste materials from East London businesses, and using them to grow mushrooms in the iconic New Spitalfields Market. They are helping to redefine how people think about waste streams and the importance of sustainablity. Zero waste and minimum food miles makes an enormous difference in tackling climate change and we are very proud to have been chosen by them to participate in their incredible free mushroom and farm direct surplus scheme.

With some absolutely stunning oyster mushrooms, our chefs created this exquisite oyster mushroom cluster. Braised in a soya brine, filled with miso, pea, and spinach puree, and mushroom and shoyu puree. Brushed with a delicate soy glaze and garnished with paprika carrots, pickled oyster mushrooms, sautéed mushrooms and shallots. Because fabulous produce deserves to shine.

We are continuing to celebrate Chinese new year across our sites with a fabulous selection of traditional favourites.

As one of the most widely celebrated festivals in the world, the holiday is a time of rich traditions and colourful festivities. From elaborate dragon dances and dazzling firework displays to lavish family feasts. This year sees the year of the Snake. The 6th animal in the Chinese zodiac, associated with wisdom, mystery and elegance and symbolising good luck and prosperity.

As one of the world's favourite cuisines, we are having a ball creating some seriously tasty options for our customers.

Tomorrow is the start of the Chinese new year. A 15 day festival marking the beginning of the lunar calendar.

It is the biggest celebration for Chinese people and is a time when family and friends come together to bid farewell to the old and welcome new beginnings and fresh starts, with hope for health, happiness and prosperity.

Our onsite preparations are well underway and our chefs have been busy creating some truly mouthwatering dishes for our customers to enjoy.
From a gorgeously crispy Hong Kong style, sweet and sour chicken, to a comforting chow mein. With duck spring rolls to start and banana fritters to finish, this was a decadent feast to brighten any wet and windy winter Tuesday.

Today is officially International sticky toffee pudding day.

Veganuary is an annual campaign that encourages people to try a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. Launched in 2014, it aims to promote plant-based eating and raise awareness about the environmental, ethical, and health benefits of a vegan diet.

Our chefs have been coming up with a fabulous selection of vegan takes on classic favourites such as our chilli "non" carne, roasted root veg wellington, and a hearty courgette lasagne. No meat, but plenty of flavour, and better for you and the planet.

Dubbed the saddest day of the year (albeit by a travel company with a not so hidden agenda) blue Monday falls on the third Monday of January. The weather is freezing, the celebrations of December are a distant memory, and the summer seems so very far away. But fear not. The sun may not be shining right now, but we are here to deliver a world of wonderful, comforting food to turn that frown upside down.

Just because we've upped our veggie game for Veganuary doesn't mean we've forgotten our meat-loving customers.

Offering a diverse range of appealing and tasty dishes to satisfy vegans and carnivores alike is part of the Bespoke experience.

A flavoursome hoisin chicken noodle dish packed with plenty of veggies and served alongside an umami rich, miso glazed cabbage made for a wonderful lunch at one of our sites today.

A little bit naughty, a little bit nice, but ultimately delicious. It is Friday after all.

A vibrant array of colourful dishes at one of our sites.

Different colors in fruits, vegetables, and other foods often indicates a more varied selection of vitamins and minerals. We have been using an incredible array of fresh vegetables this month as we fully embrace Veganuary across our sites. We are lucky to have a wonderful vegetable supplier that shares our ethos on sustainably and tackling food waste.

Angry Monk have a fabulous selection of great quality vegetables that are being saved from waste, due to size, shape, or even just because of a particularly abundant harvest. This makes them the perfect eco-friendly choice for vegans and omnivores alike.

Choosing good quality and sustainable vegetables not only benefits individual health but also supports a more resilient and sustainable food system. Good for you and the planet.

Continuing Veganuary with a delicious selection of mains and sides.

What could be more comforting in this freezing cold weather than a hearty pie? Packed full of wonderful winter vegetables and topped with a golden vegan pastry.

Or how about a vegan take on the classic stroganoff? With plenty of mushrooms and leeks, and served alongside a pilau rice crammed with fresh herbs and a selection of fresh vegetables.

Even the sides have had a vegan makeover with an umami rich miso glazed cabbage and potatoes, roasted to perfection with garlic and sesame.

As we finally say goodbye to the Christmas leftovers from the fridge and just the last of the Christmas chocolates lay forlorn at the bottom of the tub, it's time for something a little different.

Seeing as tomorrow (January 4th) is National spaghetti day, we just couldn't resist this gorgeously colourful vegan take on the classic chicken parmigiana. Freshly sliced aubergine, coated in breadcrumbs and delicately fried to a golden crisp, served on top of spaghetti with marinara sauce. The perfect comfort food for a chilly winter day.
