A movement & theatre workshop based on the themes of PUNK ALLEY, a family show full of heart, that asks big questions. It combines original punk music and high energy dance to create a vibrant and fun space for children and young people to explore what they want to use their voice to fight for. In this workshop, Sarah will lead a movement warm up, followed by creative tasks looking at sections of the show.

Sweet Monsters! workshop will spark debate and conversation around individuality.

The participants will develop their ideas practically through movement and theatre making exercises, to the back drop of punk music.

To book a place please email [email protected] with the workshop you would like to attend. We will then send you a PayPal link. This workshop will be BSL Interpreted and is open to disabled and non disabled humans aged 7-11.

Presented in a specially designed COVID-safe pop-up venue 's 'Theatre For Two' is a series of
interactive playful meetings between actor and audience member.

The four newly commissioned micro-plays are written by some of the most exciting up-and-coming talent,
Tabby Lamb, Macadie Amoroso, Ryan Lane, and Gabriella Leon, and are inspired by experiences of isolated relationships during Lockdown.

***WE ARE RE-OPENING & TAKING BOOKINGS NOW***
Walthamstow's central performance and community venue is finally re-opening and we are open for bookings for: performances, regular weekly classes/hire, events and rehearsals... so get in touch!

Main space dimensions are: 13 meters x 11 meters (not including raised stage area).

REGULAR CLASSES/ACTIVITIES:
From next week we have weekday & evening available slots for regular bookings. So, we are keen to hear from local teachers who are looking for space hire for weekly classes (Yoga, Pilates, Well-being, classes, performance activities etc).

PERFORMANCE / EVENT BOOKINGS:
From the end of May our performance programme is open and we want to hear from companies with shows ready to go. Particularly interested in:

Children’s shows – to be part of our annual children’s season ‘Rule the Roost’ - running throughout August and the summer hols this year. So, if you have a kids show ready to go - appropriate for 2+ years olds - then we want to hear from you. Shows of interest: Puppetry, theatre, craft, comedy, dance, storytelling etc.

Previews and/or one/two-nighters:
Rather miraculously, some of the big performance festivals – Edinburgh and Brighton - are managing to go ahead which means shows will have to previewed. So, get in touch if you want to preview or try-out a performance and we can find a date to book you in. The deal for these will be a 50/50 Box Office split (no guarantees).

REHEARSAL SPACE HIRE:
Performance companies looking for affordable rehearsal /R&D space – get in touch for rates.
