If you are travelling to The Howard Venue from Swanley this weekend please note that part of Swanley Lane, B258 will be closed and diversions in place. Due to close at 20:00 this evening and open 06:00 Monday morning.

Thames Water - Temporary Road Closure - B258 Swanley Lane, Swanley - From 20.00hrs on 19th April 2024 to 06.00hrs on 22nd April 2024
The road will be closed between Woodgers Grove and number 130.
The alternative route is via B258 Swanley Lane, B2173 High Street/Bartholomew Way/Maidstone Road, Birchwood Road, Leyton Cross Road, Oakfield Lane, A225 Hawley Road, B258 Church Hill/High Road/Barn End Lane/Top Dartford Road/Main Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new water connection is undertaken by Thames Water.

What would you do if a child suffered a burn?
How would you treat a heavy bleed?
Do you know the signs and symptoms of concussion?
How do you check to see if a casualty is breathing or not?
What is classed as normal breathing?
What are the early signs of meningitis?
Is your child suffering from a febrile seizure?
If you are unsure of the answer to any of the above, then it’s best to get yourself booked onto our award winning emergency first aid sessions with Mini First Aid South East London & Dartford
Many first aid treatments have been updated in the last few years, so you may benefit from a refresher course - it’s just 2hrs!!
We are visiting The Howard Venue, Swanley on Sunday 14th April.Starting at 10am - 12pm.

A member of our Zumba family has Ovarian cancer for the second time.

Ovacome are the UK's ovarian cancer charity focused on providing support and information to anyone affected by the disease. This includes people who have either been diagnosed with ovarian cancer or think that they might be at risk, as well as their friends and family and healthcare professionals.

They are a strong community of many thousands of people, all working together with the aim of reducing isolation, sharing information, promoting knowledge and supporting anyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Every year they provide direct support to over 6,200 people through our support line and events. Nearly 80,000 people access our expert information materials.

Metabolic Training (HIIT)
Thursdays 7.30pm-8pm

Metabolic Training (more commonly known as High Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT) is a workout strategy designed to maximise calorie burn both during and AFTER exercise. This is achieved by asking you to do a series of bodyweight exercises (many you will be familiar with and nothing too complicated) for a short, intense period.

*Train your body to burn more calories after exercise
*Increase your muscle strength
*Improve your cardiovascular fitness

This class is suitable for anyone to attend, it's free for Revolutions members and to those with a Fitness Class Pass. PAYG also welcome for just £5 a session.
