Boodles the jewellers wanted to celebrate Mothers' Day with their clients and prospective clients so we installed a vintage flower cart outside their store where posies of flowers were wrapped in signature paper and handed to their clients and friends. It was a huge success and dressed the store front beautifully.

Installation for at the rooftop brasserie where they used a yoga workshop to launch new products . We used green 'midori' anthuriums, guelder rose (viburnum), white lisianthus, white hydrnagea 'pearl white'.

An intimate wedding held at the hotel in Chelsea. Wintry foliage with rich red roses in an understated yet dramatic display along the length of the table. Thanks to for reminding us how fabulous they were!

The centre pieces consisted of freedom roses from equador, lichen branches, eucalyptus, cedar, scotch pine, magnolia leaves, pink astrantia.

Coastal ‘Common Mallow’ adorn the local seascape, a beautiful addition to such calm waters - allowing open water swimmers to enjoy the tranquility look closely to spot them @ 7am.

Lime Street Hotel - our entry this year for this hotel in Belgravia won them a 'highly commended overall' prize - the theme was 'floral fun and games' so we created a sinuous garland of moss, adorned with contorted hazel branches as a base from which to suspend a pair of squash racquets; squash is a traditional English game which actually developed in prisons as a way for inmates to get exercise in a confined space; some boys from Harrow thought it was interesting and took it outside the prison community and now it is a commonly played game; we used limes to represent the squash balls, attached to a citrus tree by the green garland, then decorated the steps in front with English garden plants. The finishing touch was the hotel representative who stood in front of the hotel handing out glasses of homemade Lime squash.

The wonderous quality of cherry blossom, stems from its rich texture, it's gorgeous pure colour and its delightful dancing branches. It is still one of the few flowers that is genuinely seasonal....only available for a short window every Spring - bestowing a value that is above and beyond the financial. The white blossom and muted green shades in this vase are beautifully outlined against the sublte sage green wall behind in this classic venue.

We used white double cherry blossom, viburnum, ivory hydrangea, cream dancing French tulips, gently cascading eucalyptus nicolii.

Tomorrow we celebrate - an ancient European festival marking the beginning of Summer. Age old traditions often include the gathering of wildflowers & green branches, people weaving floral garlands, crowning a May Queen and setting up a Maypole around which people dance - weaving brightly coloured ribbons into an attractive, almost harlequin like pattern.

Enjoy this coming May Day and indulge in the true traditions surrounding this special day.

Early morning walk with the dog and I happened across this beautiful spray of irises - my most favourite flower and what a glorious sight - coupled with this solitary garden rose - certainly put a smile on my cold but freshened face.

Happy St George's Day, the patron saint of England - from the team.

Today is an observance of his death, celebrated with parades, dancing and other frivolities - the St George's cross flag will be flown over buildings, "especially pubs", and I am confident a few people will wear a red rose on their lapel.

Dramatic focal points are increasingly popular in weddings today. Generally, people are inviting fewer guests but spending more to ensure a truly magical experience. Here, a willow tree is wrapped in satin ribbon studded with pearls whilst its branches are conneced by clouds of gyp. This is finished with white tulle at the base, studded iwth flowers and hanging globes with single flower heads and candles for guaranteed romance. Other elements included white anemones with whtie gypsophila and senecio foliage.
