Saturday’s fantastic wedding at The Vines, Rochester, for Olivia and Jamie. A beautiful, historic venue set in the heart of Dickensian Rochester. The weather was sunny, the rain stayed off, and it was a delight to be back working with Terry from TDH media, and Paige. Today’s fantastic wedding at Offley Place, Hertfordshire. A new venue for me but my third wedding this week. Ami and Lewis have guests who really know how to enjoy themselves. The venue is a classic English country house with lovely gardens. The weather has been kind. After being ready to welcome and direct the guests we had a lovely ceremony at Offley. Drinks and canapés followed a confetti tunnel and group photo in the shape of a heart. My call to the wedding breakfast preceded a formal entry where the guests enthusiastically received our bride and bridegroom. Great day for Jordan and Jamie at West Essex golf club. After a church wedding the guests were entertained by a gospel choir during the drinks and canape reception. A spectacular formal entry to the wedding breakfast came next during which the guests enjoyed a sumptuos three course meal. Four excellent speeches followed. After a break the evening reception started with my bespoke tribute, cake cutting and the father/daughter dance, then the “first dance”. Wonderful to work with professional management and staff at the venue: Shula, Amanda and Steve. The guests knew how to party, what a great day for me to raise the feel-good factor. Yesterday’s wedding for Ami & Harry at the Cornwallis suite, Maidstone. Rain did not stop play but did mean a seamless change from outside to inside. Becky and Sue as Event and Banqueting managers respectively were great professionals, friendly and helpful. Thyme 2 dine supplied a first class wedding breakfast, and DJ Cosmo took over for the evening with style. The guests fully bought into celebrating and having fun, what a great day!
