Call me superstitious but I am full of joy and excitement this morning having been visited by a ladybird on my bedroom window!! I’ve not seen one since I was a child and I am again full of gratitude at this unbelievable timing!! The “good luck” that this sighting foretells is hugely appreciated at this moment and certainly has made my day!! The sighting of a “Marienkafer” has also caused a stir here and one of the nurses actually climbed up to view it more closely!!! A new day has begun………💚💚💚
Wonderful to receive a visit from two adored former students Andrew Yiangou and Joanna Kacperek (now “Mr & Mrs Yiangou”)!! And to receive Joanna’s new CD “Variations” which is already making waves!! Bravo to you, Joanna, on this beautiful recording and for your recent fabulous successes in The Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and Internationaler Wettbewerb fur Liedkunst Stuttgart.
