Wow! What an absolutely incredible day performing for the whole of Stephen Hawking S.E.N. school. Ian, Mr. Ruffles performed our show which is specifically created for children with profound & multiple learning difficulties. It's interactive, exciting, engaging & sensory. Ian, Mr. Ruffles has over 15 years working in Special Needs school and he says: "Performing for these children at these incredible schools is one of the most enjoyable and satisfying parts of my job. Ian, Mr. Ruffles loving playing the role of Captain Barnacles in today's OCTANAUTS THEMED 5th birthday party. We took the kids on an Octanauts adventure full of magic, games, disco, bubbles, snow machine, prizes and lots of silliness. Using themed music throughout. With our advice and help, Mum & Dad were amazing with their creativity and added sensory elements around the room which we incorporated into the party (great for sensory needs & role play): sea treasure hunt, slimy sea creature chest, magnetic fishing in the raft, snow ball throwing at the artic, a sensory Octopad, arts & crafts table. Also each child had a themed Octonaut cape and mask as they arrived to get them into the vibe of theme and feel involved straight away. It's was magical. Do you have a theme in mind? Big Happy New Year shout out at the Queen's Theatre as Ian, Mr. Ruffles performs his last panto show of 'Beauty & The Beast' playing the comic 'Olly The Wally'. The audience were incredible. Sarah, the interpreter did an incredible job signing the whole show and keeping up with Olly The Wally's very fast dialogue and silly jokes.
