Dear friends, promoters and DJ Colleagues,
It has been a challenging couple of years, with me not having ample time to Dj as much as I would have liked due to my work/life balance. So with this said, it is with great sadness I have decided to retire and hang up my DJ Headphones.
Kizomba has been in my life since 2015, it has held my hand through tough times as well as happy times. When I accidentally heard kizomba on YouTube for the first time, the music hit my soul straight away and it still does to this day. I met so many wonderful souls through this music and dance, which I will always cherish.
When I started DJing, I didn’t imagine I would share my musical story in the places I have and with so many amazing people.
This all would not have been possible without the promoters who supported me. I would like to thank you for your commitment and trust in me over the years.
To my DJ colleagues, what can I say… thank you for always having my back. Playing alongside you has taught me so much. So many happy memories made and so many laughs had. I will miss all the vibes.
To my wonderful supporters and the kizomba community, thank you for your friendship, kindness and love. It will always be in my heart ❤️
This is not goodbye as I will still see you on the dance floor as Koko not DJ Koko 💃🏿🕺🏽
With love for the last time as DJ Koko. ❤️🙏🏾❤️
