Good Morning everyone!
My Annual Christmas Supper Club is finally online and will be hosted on Tuesday 17/12 for the 3rd year in a XVI century cottage in Forest Row in East Sussex after being held in London since 2012.
The village of Forest Row is easily connected to London Victoria with a short train ride and pick up from East Grinstead station will be arranged.

The final menu will be confirmed sooner to the event but you can find previous menus in the event page: everything is always 100% plant based and homemade from scratch using local, seasonal and organic/biodynamic ingredients.

Pumpkin Pie 🧡🍂🍁
a buttery short crust base topped with a smooth and creamy pumpkin, cashew and maple mousse; all topped with crunchy pecans.
only the best pumpkins used: this week it’s a mix of italian Delica from , Prince Crown from and Red Kuri from 🧡

the best season for fungi lovers is on the way and ALL THINGS FUNGI FESTIVAL is only a couple of weeks away!
I am busy creating a brand new menu for it and I can’t wait to share it with you all!

today’s walk gifted us with some more chanterelles, but also the biggest wood hedgehog I’ve ever found, a gorgeous looking birch bolete and FINALLY some PORCINI 👑

as many many many of you know I am the biggest OASIS fan ever existed 😂 saw them live for the first time in 1995 (I was 12!!!! 😳🥰) and since then I’ve been obsessing over Liam till this very day 🤭

well we all know that OASIS ARE BACK TOGETHER 🥹🥲😍🥳 and I’m not here to use this huge event to promote my business like everyone else is doing 😵‍💫 but silence wouldn’t be appropriate either since I’ve always been so very open about this obsession of mine 😆

10 years of instagram 😱
days when I was just playing around in the kitchen, hosting monthly italian dinners in Queens Park in my days off.
way before veganism became mainstream in the UK, way before I started regulars markets in London, I travelled to festivals in the US and way before I met all the people I am proud of knowing now. way before algorithms, when followers were real and buying them wasn’t a thing, way before influencers were a thing. everything was much more real and the connections we had will never be the same.
if you were here then, you’ll remember me walking around talking to my phone in Brick Lane or showing all the new vegan brands or trying all the vegan foods at vegan festivals.
if you are still here now, THANK YOU for putting up with me and my silliness; I am 10 years older and maybe a bit more experienced and serious sometimes, but I’m still the same crazy vegan you met 10 years ago ❤️

WILD NETTLE PESTO 🌿
started as a very unpopular experiment to replace wild garlic when its season ended and now officially the best seller. customers at all markets ask me what it tastes like: I describe it as a very gently herby sauce where the freshness of squeeze lemons meets the crunchiness of a mix of omega 3 rich seeds.
IT IS INCREDIBLE.
we eat it every day!! on bread, crackers, raw salads, cooked vegetables. its become a staple here.
