Hi all
Lockdown has had its affect on everyone, but we all agree that we needed to keep safe. We made the most of virtual sessions and camp at home, but now we are getting back to ‘real’ Scouting.
To be able to take the young people on an outing to Brownsea Island, where Scouting began, we need to hire a coach- which isn’t cheap!
Therefore, we have been accepted by Asda's green token scheme where the first prize is £500. Simply go to www.asda.com/green-tokens, it's the South Ruislip Branch- First Greenford. We can all vote each week until the end of July. Please pass on to everyone you know and get voting- thanks!

Eid Mubarak to all!
Smile, be kind, be the best version of yourself- Be a Scout!

Eid is the celebration that marks the end of fasting through the month of Ramadan. Each day while fasting people have reflected on what is positive, what bad habits they can stop, how resilient they are and how friends and family can support each other.
In Scouting, we are one big family who are here for each other through laughs, tears, adventures and sorrow.
Sending hugs and best wishes to all our Scout family today and everyday, and remember there is always someone at the end of the phone/email.

A great session with Ealing Park Warden James last night- starting our involvement with the wildlife survey. If anyone has any spare roofing felt to donate, we will be making more amazing reptile hides to be used around the borough which we and James’ team will be checking on regularly to review how the biodiversity in the parks is coping :)
