This Sunday it's Hackney CARNIVAL!
So I'm playing Reggae, Rocksteady and
Vintage Dancehall tunes from 3pm til 8pm, all on vinyl, at the rather fine The Victoria pub in Dalston.

The carnival procession & Mas bands pass right in front of the pub so come, hang out and join the carnival with us there then stay for Reggae records n drinks after it passes by!

So The Monkey Stomp Blues will be playing a few fine vinyl tunes at the See you in Stokey fundraiser night at The Old Church in N16 on this Friday 21st June - beautiful 500 year old venue, comedians, food etc!

Then it's back to Howling Hops in Hackney Wick on 6th July with a newly freshened up big box of Funk , Soul, Reggae and Afro-Grooves

Afternoon!
Goth Christmas and all that, so:
- Playing vintage records with a Halloween twist in amongst them tonight, Friday 28th, at The Horatio on Holloway Road.
- Then Saturday 29th is Halloween party at The Dundee Arms in Bethnal Green when The Monster Mash will be played at least twice!
- And Monday 31st October it's Brilliant Corners in Dalston. A bar & Japanese restaurant with high end audio set up - rotary mixer, valve amps & such like, so a listening and atmospheric set. Will be playing a horror film soundtracks, a bit of Tom Waits and some jazz I should think.

THEN - Saturday l5th November it's back to The Dundee Arms for a pub party after the fireworks in the park!
- Thursday 10th is Brew Club in Bohemia Place E8 for the pop up night market which gonna play reggae throughout!
- 12th November is our Japanese event Ura Matsuri in Bethnal Green - lots of live performance!
- Then it's both Thursday 17th & Friday 18th November for some punk rock pub disco after party vibes in Bethnal Green yet again for the Amyl & the Sniffers gigs!

After that it seems to depend on what happens in the football world unfortunately!

Couple of things coming up in November in Bethnal Green!
I'm gonna play a trashy mix of "Pub Party Punk Rockin' Vinyl" in the rather splendid Dundee Arms for the unofficial after parties for the sold out Amyl & The Sniffers gigs at York Hall, and the pub is right beside the venue - Step out to step back in!

And the week before it's no DJ.ing, but I am co-organising The Ura Matsuri gig shown in the poster (also over the road from the Dundee Arms actually!)
