A real BBQ inspired cocktail!

The “Iced-Apple & Chestnut Old-Fashioned” paired with couture chocolates from @williamcurley was one of the most popular drinks from our DIY cocktail menu over the holidays.
It’s a delicious winter inspired tipple made with Hvenus rye whisky, barrique ice cider from @brannlandcider and sweetened with Ling Heather honey infused with British chestnuts and wild chequer berries.
And we did mini-toffee apples as part of the garnish!
Like all our creations this cocktail is all about seasonal and natural flavours, using hand foraged produce, a real taste of nature.
It’s still available from our online shop so you can make it yourself, a perfect way to spend a Friday evening during lockdown.
As autumn is closing in we’re starting to plan our menus for the months to come.
And truffle is such a fantastic compliment to richer and bigger flavours, such as brandy, Madeira, but also lighter more delicate characters like pears.
