Claire Clarke Weddings was hence born, planning weddings UK wide (and Europe if requested as I really do love to travel, even if for work!) but predominantly focusing on Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. I understand weddings can be very overwhelming and with more couples leading such busy lives, many simply don’t have the time to carry out all the research involved. Managing all areas of ‘wedding related services’ such as helping to plan your proposal (some of you have some amazing ideas but simply need the help to execute them!), engagement parties, hen and stag parties, the rehearsal dinner, the wedding day and anniversary parties, I am on hand to help make your dream event a reality. I know that no two weddings or events are the same and therefore ensure that all my couples receive a bespoke meeting before embarking on our planning journey. Following this meeting, whichever service you choose, I will work alongside you to offer my expert advice and guidance along the way. I will assist with all aspects of the planning process from designing a personalised theme, negotiations, etiquette- advice and will be your personal support confidant throughout our journey together. Your wedding day is the celebration of your love story. 💫 A write up of your wedding day to help streamline your mind but can also be sent to your suppliers so they have a full run down of the logistics.
💫 I’ll then pick up communications with suppliers just before your day so you can start relaxing and enjoying the last few weeks of your engagement bubble!

So looking forward to a week of related fun this week!

Tonight, I have a call lined up with S&A to start the planning of their 2026 big day!

Tomorrow, I am having a long awaited catch up with my gorgeous 2025 couple M&Z!

And to top it off, this gorgeous venue I represent (and married at myself in 2016!) is featuring on in a two part series this week showcasing the gorgeous wedding of and !

I may need to open a bottle of the wine to take me there!

We may have blue skies in the UK today, however there is certainly a chill in the air which is making me want to be back in this gorgeously sunny (and warm) location in northern Italy!

Also, let’s just take a moment for how wonderfully green and luscious the gardens and surroundings at this beautiful venue really are. Owner Nicola, looks after the grounds personally, and honestly her individual touch can be seen and felt throughout the vibrant grounds. It really is a venue so magical you have to see it in real life. 🪴 💚

Today I’m travelling into London for what is planned to be (unless any wonderful planners need any Autumn/ Winter on the day support) my last wedding of 2024.

It’s been quite the season with my own London, Italy and Northamptonshire weddings along with the opportunity to support some wonderful other planners with their clients’ big days.

I want to say a huge thank you to all my clients this year for taking me on your journeys 🤍

Being able to take a small slice of this amazing wedding world and call it work will forever stay a ‘pinch me’ moment. I’m forever grateful to all my clients, suppliers and venues who make my passion for creating weddings possible.

Now, here is to spending more time planning 2025 and 2026 weddings!

Have you considered how important the little details are for your wedding?

I’ve been there as a bride myself, and I know how much thought and work goes into getting the perfect wedding dress however just like any outfit, finishing off your wedding look with the perfect accessories is so important; it takes your look from WOW to WOWZER and can make all the difference for your overall style!

The same can be said for the extras to your table styling too. A tablescape can go from looking quite flat to popping with the right candles or the right stationary to levitate your chosen florals.

My job as a Wedding Planner is to ensure that we think about all of these little extra details from the styling of yourself and your bridal party through to the table styling and the other areas. I’ll even speak to my couples about buying in ribbons, ring boxes and styling elements to ensure that all of the small items that tell the story of your wedding a thoughtfully photographed and styled.

After all, a story is not written by just pages in a book, it’s the words on those pages that bring the story to life. 🤍

When planning a destination weding, it’s so important to think outside the box.

Traditional seating plans are much harder to achieve when planning a destination wedding as ensuring an A1 seating plan board gets to your destination in one piece can be quite a gamble.

I therefore work very closely with my couples to create a seating plan with a bit of a difference.

For this wedding we use stunning silks and dress pins to attach es**rt cards to the most amazing floral hoop. Not only does this style of es**rt table given interactive experience for guests as they find their seat but as it is also the perfect opportunity to give your wedding a styling level up.

Re-introducing your wedding planner duo!

If you’re planning a wedding at this gorgeous venue, you’ll very likely have been in communication with Pamela already. With years and years of experience under her belt you’re in amazing hands.

But since Pamela can’t be everywhere, she’s stepped back more now from the on the day side of the weddings, handing over to the amazing team of hosts and catering managers on site.

When you have a wedding at your family home, you need to have someone by your side to pull everything together so you’re family isn’t having to, allowing them to enjoy the day too.

But being your family home, you have to put a lot of trust into that person to know they’ll respect your home, be trusted with the keys for the day and being to close the site down at the end of the night.

It’s a big ask to put that much trust into someone without knowing much about them and for that reason, I can’t tell you how grateful I am that my clients choose me to be their on the day planner.
