The team is delighted to be supporting the St. Mary Magdalen’s School Christmas Fair this Sunday 1st December! They love being part of our local community and enjoy welcoming you to dine with them and enjoy our delicious Nepalese dishes.

In addition to dine-in, takeaway, and delivery, they offer private dining and restaurant hire, and in the summer, they have a lovely garden at the back—one of East Sheen’s hidden secrets!

Our Silent Disco was described as an ‘EPIC night,’ and we couldn’t agree more! Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make this magical evening happen. As we approach the first day of the final term of 2024, we’re excited to end the year with a bang. There’s an amazing lineup of PTA events coming up, so stay tuned!

To celebrate the end of the term, St. Mary Magdalen’s Silent Disco will take place on the eve of Friday, 25th October in the school hall! Tickets can be purchased through Scopay or in the playground. The cost is £6 per child, and adult entry is free (children must be accompanied by an adult).

KS1: 5 - 6 pm
KS2: 6.15 - 7.15 pm

Tuck shop, glow fun, children's refreshments, fully stocked bar, and disco beats, all in support of a good cause!

Thank you so much for everyone that made the International Food Fair such a fantastic success. We raised over 3K for the School thanks to everyone who cooked and prepped, worked the bar, sold tokens and raffle tickets, donated to us, helped with kids crafts and with the huge clear up at the end and of course to all those who came and enjoyed the day.

The spread of World foods from our school community families was absolutely outstanding. We are so proud and lucky to be part of the Mary Mags School community here in Mortlake. As one of our fabulous stall holders said ‘there seemed to be a contagious happiness in the air’ and she was so right.

Looking forward to next year’s Food Fair already!

After the excitement of yesterday, we have been straight back in the kitchen today, baking a batch of loaves for the International Food Fair this weekend.

These loaves are for our South African friends and will be served with bunny chow. Want to know what that is?* I believe tickets will be available on the door. 🇿🇦

(* They assure me no actual bunnies will be harmed in the cooking process. 🐇😆)
