If you are an events organiser wondering if you can now book your meeting or event, Conference News has highlighted the Government’s roadmap for the reopening of the sector.
At present , business meetings and events, and meetings for training and educational purposes (that cannot be conducted remotely) are permitted.
From the 17th of May, outdoor events in COVID-secure venues are also allowed to take place. For us this means that our open air Terraces can be booked from this date.
Some public events can take place from 12 April, such as village fetes, agricultural shows, gardening shows, funfairs and food and drink festivals.

Events @ No 6 - Launch Party
Event buyers and industry professionals came together to celebrate Events @ No 6’s launch.
Guests enjoyed arrival prosecco and choice of cocktail flavourings representing Events @ No 6’s brand values including; hibiscus & lavender, black cherry & dark chocolate to earl grey tea & dried lemon. An array of canapes and street food were served including Bao buns with gochujang pork belly and an interactive macaroon dessert station.
Velvet Entertainment and Velvet Living partnered with the new purpose built venue, setting the style and atmosphere through plush soft furnishings, bespoke lighting displays, and a dazzling mirrored bar. The main highlight was their four incredible acts, as soon as guests arrived Elixir String Quartet welcomed guests into the warm with festive classics accompanied by Jak Chantler on guitar, The Super Roams charmed and serenaded guests in the Elizabeth Room, finished off with DJ Abz
Activities were displayed across two floors of event spaces including Blue Hat Teambuilding who created a bespoke activity, encouraging guests to discover and learn more about Events @ No 6 and their sustainability initiatives whilst Pinstripes & Peonies adorned the six event spaces with botanically inspired displays including an 8ft living wall!
The night was also supported by White Light Ltd, Kinsmen, LDN Selective with photographers Mark Bothwell, Bare Events and Lakeone.photography.

Founded in 1962, the Royal College of Pathologists is a professional membership organisation with charitable status, concerned with all matters relating to the science and practice of pathology.
By hosting your event with RCPath you are helping to support the continued work to educate and train the next generation of pathologists in connecting science and medicine to further advancements in diagnosis, treatment and prevention within healthcare.
New Beginnings
In January 2019 we will be opening our doors to our innovative venue, Events @ No 6, in the bustling City of London following an exciting two year development providing the Royal College of Pathologists a new home.
Facilities include a variety of bright meeting rooms hosting up to 200 guests with in built AV, flexible break outs and spaces available for hire in the evening including fine dinning for up to 150 and a tranquil terrace with stunning views of London’s iconic skyline, ideal for summer receptions for 60 guests.
6 Alie Street is within easy walking distance of Aldgate East, Aldgate and Tower Hill tube stations and 10 minutes from Liverpool Street or Fenchurch Street.
