Civil Wedding Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of their love for each other without the religious context.

I love how gorgeous they both look. I throughly enjoy seeing all the events my couples plan and have on the lead up to when I get involved. It’s always beautiful seeing the commitment and the celebrations that have at times happened ahead of their wedding day.

What Is a Civil Wedding Ceremony in the UK?

A civil ceremony is a marriage without any religious context, performed by a registrar. The ceremony is legally binding.

The beautiful Orsett Hall will be our next venue. The hotel is located in the village of Orsett, Essex. It has a Chapel located in the grounds, a new Wedding Gazebo and a choice of stunning Reception rooms, that can accommodate as many as 520 seated guests; they offer internal catering and welcome external catering.

The grounds have millions of photo opportunities 😉

We are torn as, as this bipolar weather we are experiencing and expecting in the next few days. On wedding day is it better to say;

“Rain, rain go away…”

or

“Rain, please make sure you are there on the day!”

As, did you know?
“Rain on your wedding day is seen as good luck it is supposedly signifies that your marriage will last. According to old wives tales. As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel thus making the marriage stronger.

Finally, the restrictions on wedding guests numbers have been lifted and we have our game face on and we are ready.

In the background, we are monitoring continual updates on the guidance and along with all of your vendors we will execute a COVID secure wedding on your behalf. We have been liaising with several others within the industry from fellow planners, caterers, decorators, bar management, photographers, videographers, venues etc. There is still further clarification required from the government and we have all the confidence within the task forces who are working tirelessly to obtain this, but until then we are ready - So Let’s Do This…

In this role we come into contact with hundreds of people therefore, I took the decision to protect myself, our couples/celebrants and their loved ones as well as my own.

I’ve seen first hand someone who exhibited no symptoms at all and was completely asymptomatic as in walking around and healthy.
