The pivotal moment in her musical journey unfolded in 1999, sparked by the inspiration of her late friend Stuart, whose enduring influence remains a significant and cherished element of her odyssey. Edele acknowledges that without him, she wouldn't be where she is today. For her seventeenth birthday, she used all her savings and bought her very first set of belt drive decks, committing herself to refining her skills. She devoted hours to practice and spent all her earnings on the newest releases from record shops, with Kinetic Records being her favourite haunt. Although Edele had been playing at underground parties for years, her career reached a turning point in 2009 when she captured the spotlight at a night called Lifted. This marked a significant breakthrough in her career. The momentum kept surging, resulting in an unforgettable moment at the Hikkaduwa festival in Sri Lanka. There, she entertained a staggering 14,000 ravers on the beach, creating a surreal and defining memory. Shortly afterward, Hed Kandi reached out, providing opportunities to showcase her talent at diverse venues across the UK and infusing a delightful sense of fun into her musical voyage. Edele's love for music transcends strict genre boundaries, embodying a true eclectic spirit. Her guiding force is valuing a good tune that gets people moving, regardless of its genre. Having had the privilege to play at some of the world's best clubs, consistently rocking the dancefloor with her energetic sets, Edele has left a lasting impression on those who have witnessed her diverse musical journey. In 2020, the legendary Graham Gold invited her to be a resident for their night Peach, an offer she couldn't refuse, and since then, amongst many other brilliant festivals and gigs, she has played for the iconic Camden Palace/KOKO at their sold out events. Edele has also partnered up with Chris Bayne and relaunched Peach Goes Hard specialising in more intimate parties catering to enthusiasts of the harder sound. Edele's DJing prowess and unwavering passion for music set her apart, propelling her on a trajectory of continuous growth. In 2021, she made a significant mark by releasing her debut track, "First Promise," signed to Saunda True, reaching number 2 on Beatport's Hype Top 10 chart.
