This is what I've been up to in the studio this week. My friend Ina May Wool wrote a song, inspired by some current political rhetoric. I told her she should get it out to the public, ASAP. A collaboration was born. I helped smooth out some of the lyrics and locked in the chord structure on what she already had, and then produced this for her in my home studio. Also, the artwork is available on several products via the artist who made that. Their link is in the soundcloud description. For the sake of the algorithm, the link to the song is in the comments. BIG NEWS! I just released a new single. I wrote a song for PRIDE last year, and shared it with my Patreon. This year I polished it up, got my friend Robert Gay to lay down live horns, Chris to make some cover art, and I'm setting it free for Pride month. The links to listen are below in the comments, because FB limits views on posts with outside links; or you can just Google search for my name and "Shout It Out Loud." I just put this video up on YouTube. It's a complex little song about a dust mite named "Ricky." My patrons have heard, downloaded, and seen this video over a year ago. I can't begin to tell you how many wonderful insect songs you're missing out on by not joining our little Patreon community...ok...this is the only insect one...but isn't that a good thing?

Just letting my FB crew know, I posted a brand new song, "You Ruined All the Songs I Loved" on Patreon today, and I just posted about "Little Spain" on TikTok, (which I agree needs to be sold, or stopped. Fight me!). Point is, SO FEW of my actual friends are hearing the 40+ new songs I have on Patreon. Supporting an artist costs less than buying a CD ever did, and, honestly, it's some of the best stuff I've ever written...along with some ridiculousness, but that's fun too. :-) .
