Word Down Walthamstow Each event features 4 or 5 featured poets, a couple of singer/songwriters and an open-mic section for all disciplines.

Word Down Walthamstow is a regular, (somewhat seasonal) celebration of upbeat, edgy, sarcastic and humorous lyricism - both musical and poetical and sometimes downright comical ! The event usually happens in the downstairs room at Ye Olde Rose & Crown in Walthamstow... having previously occurred upstairs as Word Up Walthamstow... geddit ??
