Polka Theatre is one of the few venues in the UK which is dedicated to producing and presenting world We open later when we have evening shows.

Since the doors opened in 1979, this unique venue has been entertaining children with resonant, engaging and exciting theatre. Over 100,000 children a year come to Polka and are inspired, stimulated and engaged by theatre, often for the first time. Polka strives to stir the emotions, spark the imagination and, most of all, entertain. Its two theatre spaces, the Main Theatre and the Adventure Theat
re are designed especially for children so that their first taste of theatre is welcoming and relevant. Opening Times:
Tuesday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday – Sunday: 9:30am – 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays)
The building is closed on Mondays. Box Office Opening times:
Tues-Fri – 9am – 5pm
Sat-Sun – 10am – 4.30pm

Yesterday, the Snow Queen cast had the lovely opportunity to visit Ronald McDonald House Charities United Kingdom a charity that provides free accommodation for families of children in hospital.
We had a lovely time meeting some of the families staying at their Tooting House, thank you for having us! 💜

Learn about our Touch Tours!
Held before an Audio Described performance, Touch Tours are a chance to meet the cast, touch the stage and selected props. This helps blind or visually impaired audience members gain a sense of what will be happening during the show.
Our next Audio Described performance (and Touch Tour) is for Tidy on Saturday 16 March 2pm (Touch Tour 1pm). Every performance of Remarkable Rhythm (coming in February) features live audio description by the performers and a pre-show Touch Tour.

This week’s good news was all the fun that was had at our December Saturday Club! ‘Whoosh into Winter’ was a movement class inspired by The Snow Queen ❄
Saturday Club is on the first Saturday of every month, and is just £6 per session. Next one is New Year, New Skill on Saturday 6 January.
