Solo classical pianist - Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran
I've been a bit absent on social media for a while - I've been so busy with new clients! But I'm determined to get back on it. What better way than with this beautiful solo piano video. I could listen to it on repeat all day 🥰 (I actually sometimes do 😂😳)

Calling all musical theatre fans!
I'm a modern musicals girl at heart - most of my faves were written in the last 20 years (my current top choice is Six the Musical 👑). But as far as the classics go, My Fair Lady is one of the best ❤️ Give me that over The Sound of Music any day! I posted a clip from this video on my Instagram last week and I've been pretending to be Eliza Doolittle ever since!
What's your all-time favourite musical? If you could pick one musical theatre song to be performed at your wedding, what would it be?
Wedding March arr. for string trio
I'm very busy right now confirming ceremony music song choices with couples, for all the weddings coming up soon! And this piece of music never seems to be far away - I've had 3 couples choose it this week!
The 'Wedding March' was written by German composer Felix Mendelssohn in 1842. It was originally part of a suite of music he wrote to go alongside Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Queen Victoria's daughter had it performed at her wedding in 1858, and it's been a firm tradition ever since.
It's usually played on the organ, but can be easily adapted for most classical instruments and ensembles. This video shows one of my string trios performing it at Drapers Hall in the City of London.
All of Me - live wedding music
This song has been really popular for wedding ceremonies and first dances ever since its release in 2013. It works beautifully on the harp - it's so romantic 😍
Pop songs played on classical instruments
Most couples booking live classical musicians for their wedding want them to play a mixture of different styles of music including some modern pop songs. String ensembles are brilliant at arranging pop songs and performing them in an upbeat, classical style.
A great example is this fantastic string duo, playing their version of 2012 folk-rock classic 'Ho Hey' by The Lumineers. I love this tune, and they play it brilliantly! It's the perfect modern romantic music for a wedding. ❤️🎉
I've Got a Crush on You...
Last-minute bookings are rolling in for all those couples who finally know that their weddings in May, June and July are likely to go ahead. ❤️ And this duo is proving my most popular by miles! It seems like everyone who hears them wants to book them!
If you'd love the sultry tones of a jazz singer and the mellow, laid-back accompaniment of jazz guitar to set the mood at your wedding, don't delay! Get in touch now before their diary fills up any more! They're perfect for intimate, early evening entertainment, especially while guest numbers are still small. They can even perform a song for your first dance! ❤️

Brilliant lively jazz quartet
A fantastic line-up of trombone, guitar, double bass and drums plays this lively jazz arrangement of On the Street Where You Live. The song was originally from the musical My Fair Lady, but has been given the jazz treatment by many different performers.
This line-up sets the tone brilliantly for a lively, fun wedding drinks reception. Make sure you listen through some good headphones and turn up the bass. Then you'll really appreciate that wonderful double bass line, and hear what a difference it makes to the whole feel of the performance.
Sophisticated Jazz Trio - Wedding Entertainment
This fantastic jazz trio of saxophone, keys and double bass show us what they can do in their brilliant rendition of the classic jazz standard, Pennies from Heaven. This cool, laid-back tune is brought to life by a bright improvised keyboard solo.
Sophisticated Jazz Wedding Music
What's the most sophisticated wedding entertainment?
Live jazz, of course! Whether it's for your ceremony, afternoon or evening reception, it's perfect for a grand hotel or country house wedding.
This intimate duo of vocals and guitar is particularly great for smaller weddings, and offers a huge selection of romantic jazz standards. 'I Can't Give You Anything but Love' is a favourite of mine.
There are more great videos where this one came from. Let me know if you'd like to see more!
Traditional Wedding Ceremony Music
It's Valentines Day and couples all over the world are getting engaged as I type! ❤🥰💍🥰❤
What better way to celebrate than to play this traditional wedding favourite: the Wedding March from Felix Mendelssohn's incidental music to A Midsummer Night's Dream. Doesn't it make you want to get to the church/registry office/stately home/barn and get married right away?!
This brilliant piece is often chosen as a grand entrance piece for the processional at the beginning of the ceremony. It can also be used for the recessional as you and your guests exit at the end of the ceremony. It can be played on pretty much any classical instrument or ensemble: harp, piano, organ, classical guitar or by brass and woodwind ensembles, but works particularly well on stringed instruments. This video features a string trio of violin, viola and cello.
Share this with anyone you know who's got engaged this weekend, to help them celebrate! 😍😍🍾🥂
